“Home from home”
Reviewed 30 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

I went with my two daughters, three young granddaughters and two small dogs for a week. When we arrived the owner let us in where we found home baking ready for us plus milk sugar and tea bags which was lovely after a long journey from Yorkshire . The Barn had a fantastic lawned garden which was secure for our dogs, on the picture the wood fence looks open but it is covered in wire. The beds were very comfortable , the bathroom and kitchen very modern. Walking the dogs was a dream they didn't have to be on their leads on the large field and woods. Walking through the wood or walking on the lawned area to the stream was good but not may I add for anyone with a disability with walking as it was down a hill. We all enjoyed the holiday, the kids loved the trampoline and the play area.
The owners were extreemly obliging and friendly would definitely go again.

“Fantastic barn conversion, in beautiful countryside, run by lovely people.”
Reviewed 25 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

My husband, dog and I had a very relaxing long weekend in this lovely barn conversion. Lisa and Alistair the owners were very helpful, accommodating and easy to get along with. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

“Superb!”
Reviewed 2 February 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Fabulous long weekend in this delightful, cosy, warm dog friendly, barn.
The only downside is finding another weekend that hasn't already been booked up!
(And the Audi Sat Nav that took us down the wrong road!)
We shall return!

“SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL - FANTASTIC Barn conversion!”
Reviewed 27 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

I booked this short stay at Roe Barn for my wife's birthday as she likes to get away to peaceful locations. This booking was far better than expected. We thought the Barn photo's were stunning but when we arrived it was simply better. Everything was immaculate and the owners were at hand for welcome, advice on places to go and FREE wood (we did go through quite a bit for the wood burner), even though we didn't need it as the barn is beautifully warm.
I cannot recommend this rental higher and the owners.
Thank you for a wonderful stay and i'm sure we will see you again in the summer months, particularly when our puppy gets a bit older, she'll love the walks and lake.

“Great accommodation for a peaceful stay”
Reviewed 1 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

Situated down a long track next door to a Caravan park this very attractive barn conversion is the perfect spot for a quiet get away. Comfortable and cosy (with the log burner) at night and light during the day this accommodation has been well thought out. The under floor heating in the lounge is a great bonus for those who forget to wear slippers.
The owners live near by and are very helpful, reacting very quickly to any problems (the dvd player was fixed and returned the next day).
The barn is well positioned for visiting all the wonderful attractions near Bridport, including the fantastic walk up to Golden Cap and Seatown.
It is not within walking distance to a pub, this was honestly pointed out to us before booking, but just a couple of minutes away by car from The Half moon where we enjoyed the best meal of our holiday.
We felt very refreshed after our break and would certainly recommend it, actually we already have to many of our friends.

Liked best: The log burner and generous free wood and friendly owner
Liked least: Paying £22 for a broken glass bathroom beaker but I am clumsy!
