We actually booked this very last minute, so felt lucky to get a tent pitch with electric. The pitch itself was big enough, but could do with some form of fence along the bottom edge to stop kids taking the shortest route to the toilet block through the middle of your alfresco kitchen whilst your cooking. The toilet and shower block was clean with hot well pressured showers.

Ate from the takeaway and in the Bar/Clubhouse, and both were edible and reasonable value.

Kids play area was ok, as was indoor pool. Didn't use outdoor pool.

Shop was well stocked at reasonable prices. Reception useful amounts of local info.

Evening entertainment was fun, for our kids especially.

Biggest thing for me is people, all staff were smiling, friendly and welcoming.

I considered my stay as good to exceptional value for money.

Chose the park due to facilities with young kids and location near to Devon.
We felt the site had very good facilities. We used the soft play, playground, both pools and evening kids entertainment. All were very good. My only 2 gripes would be that the outdoor swimming pool could be a few degrees warmer and the indoor pool has less chlorine.
The showers were hot all day. The showers however could do with being adjusted as when turned to hot the water shoots out towards the door. Makes it hard to keep things dry or shower children!
These are minor points and we enjoyed ourselves and will return. Long live Dino Dan!!

Booked a premier pitch for 14 nights came home after 10! Reasons.... Bored nothing to do no kids clubs during day to talk of. Booked pottery got a call on day of event to say had to go to village to do this ! went to clubhouse to fund nothing for kids then was asked to leave at 9 because entertainment nit suitable for kids! Toilets in clubhouse need a dam good clean as do the shires and toilets on site they were leaking whole time we were there! You would think for the money they charge for high season they should clean several times a day as there are only 2 blocks there's no excuse!
Dog walking facilities is a joke so beware if you have a problem with uphill walk then I wouldn't bother, no one picks up and no space for them to run.
Takeaway lol horrible deep fried food cheeseburger bun burger slice of cheese 3.30. Could have played frizby with it you need to pay attention to the kids that run this. We never ate in clubhouse as we found all food was either microwaved or deep fried! They don't do breakfast!!!!! My recommendation is to go to the George 10 mins walk fab food fab prices and big garden for kids!
There is no security on site so anyone can come and go!
Plus points bins emptied regularly, porter takes you to your pitch, close to village.
Overall this is possibly the worst site I have ever been to it was boring and staff miserable!
Forgot to mention the outside pool is bloody freezing! The indoor pool is so dirty you cannot see to the bottom!
Would I return no more to do at home!

We stayed here in an apartment above reception. It was large and clean and had everything you needed apart from a strong and reliable wi-fi connection. The on site shop was convenient and reasonably priced with friendly and helpful staff to serve you. The outside pool was FREEZING and a massive disappointment as the kids could have splashed around all day but they had to keep getting out as it was so cold. If it claims to be heated (as it does) then make it warm enough not to take your breath away when you get in. The pool gets very deep very quickly and there is not adequate signage to indicate this.
There is a good playground outside for the kids and plenty of well-tended grass for them to run around in. The indoor stuff for kids is a little disappointing. The soft play is small and great for under 4s but not good for slightly older kids. The little slot arcade bit had only 4 working games but wouldn't need much attention and attractions to make it fun. Some 2p falls would be a good idea. We didn't try kids club but did go to the evening kids stuff in the club and it was fun and the staff tried hard. Many people stayed in the bar area until it shut at 12 and seemed to have a good time.
The campsite is well maintained and conveniently located and a good base for the Jurassic coastline but doesn't have quite enough to make it excellent. Having said that you could do a lot worse and staying here is good value and definitely pleasant.

We stayed in the Pearl apartments which are well designed for a family with plenty of room. Initially I was concerned that our bed was in the lounge but it worked very well. My daughter and her son shared the bed room and my wife and I used the bed in the lounge. The mattress could be a bit softer but other wise the apartment had all you need for a break. Good value.

The favorite was the indoor pool with the option of an out door pool. Plenty of room to play ball games out side. and soft play for rainy days.

The evening kids club entertainment Mon Wed Fri was excellent and the presenter had a good way with children and worked very hard to make sure they all had a good time he introduced Dino Dan and held the whole thing together very well. All the staff were pleasant and you felt they cared that you were enjoying your holiday.

The site shop was reasonable for provisions and very convenient.

I arrived on a Saturday with my Mum Dad and Son we had book the pearl apartment, we arrived fairly early and were told that our apartment was not ready but as we were early this was to be expected and we did receive our keys on time. We had a look around the site in the interim and found it to be clean and tidy with a reasonable amount of amenities for a smaller caravan park. We got into our apartment and found it to be spacious - more roomy than that of a caravan which given the price was surprising the only thing that let the apartment down was the cleanliness standard. I realise that time is short for the cleaners but there were numerous items left from the previous guests, we cleaned up ourselves ensuring cutlery was clean and wiping down the table etc it really didn't seem too big a deal to us as we thoroughly enjoyed our week. All the staff we dealt with were polite friendly and helpful, I had read reviews on here and was a little worried about the staff by for us they were unfounded. We used the bar every night just for a couple of beers and a sit on the lovely veranda. We ate there on 1 occasion and the meal was very enjoyable with good portion sizes. All in all a very good stay and we would return.

Stayed here many times in caravans and poolside apartments, like the people, atmosphere, food and surrounding areas. Good as a base to explore the jurassic coast and beyond if we could live or own here we would.
