If there is a rain shower, the tea room gets packed with people who don't know what they want. If the sun is shining, it is packed all the same.
The staff are polite and friendly. The food is standard beach cafe stuff with a lot of home made cakes.
No need to recommend this place, it is the only one on the beach. But it is worth a positive review, all the same.

Thank Frank C

Despite the pervasive smell of chip oil the meals we had were cooked and presented well. The smell of the oil made me think it was a 'greasy joes' but I had a jacket potato with tuna and salad and my husband had a fried meal and it was very good.

Disinterested service. Not very nice coffee. Utilitarian room. Such a shame that the cafe far from lives up to the beautiful surroundings.

Not to be confused with Soft Rock Cafe on the beach.

We arrived early for guided tour so decided to get some 'fossil fuel' rather than head back into the village where parking looked problematic on a busy day.

Whilst nothing fancy the food was good quality and value - where else can you get sea-bream fish cakes, cooked breakfast or dream teas?

Worth a visit.

Lovely mug of tea and piece of cake served by very friendly staff. Perfect place for a snack while watching the sea.
