A lovely place near Bridport and Lyme Regis to go for a walk along the cliffs or on the wonderful Stanton St Gabriel beach or through Langdon Wood. A great view of Lyme Bay and of the up and down hilly landscape.

Fantastic views, part of the Jurasic Coast. Wonderful walking country, where the beach is never far away. Not flat!

Not for the faint hearted or unfit, this is a place for healthy exercise to enjoy some of the most spectacular coastal scenery in Dorset. Climb up to Golden Cap from Seatown to the east, then reward yourself with a pint and a nice lunch at the Anchor Inn!

Amazing view, and great pub at foot of cliff - serves an excellent Ploughman's.

If you like walking, then this is a must, its a little way from the beach up over some very steep fields, but when you reach the base of the cap,the view draws you up top,its amazing,on a clear day you can see for miles. well worth carrying a picinc up & relaxing, Not suitable for small children as no barriers to stop them falling of cliff,or disabled & in some parts not suitable for vertigo sufferes as sheer drops!!
Well worth the climb. BUT you can cheat, there is a small car park in a near by wood which is accessible from the charmouth rd but it is not sign posted,it is a single track lane & not many passing places, a local place i believe!!
