We stayed at Olivers for three nights at the start of April 2014 - we had the Bingham room which was made up as a super king size bed instead of two singles. Leigh rang us to check which we would prefer which was a nice touch and reassured us that they were expecting us on the dates booked online.
After dropping off luggage we parked around the corner using Olivers recently aquired parking permit which was better than using the pay and display car park we had planned.
The room is large with a seperate lobby with clothes rail and an en suite with shower. Comfortable, clean and simple furnishings made us feel at home with nice touches such as a good selection of tea and coffee, chocolates on our pillows and bottles of spring water.
Breakfasts were excellent - very personal service beautifully cooked and presented.
We throughly recommend Olivers and Leigh and Paul made us feel very welcome.
Difficult to find fault but two items of constructive criticism; bedside lighting had capsule lamps which were bright and harsh - a shaded lamp would give a softer, cosier glow and having original single glazed windows meant that condensation was evident in the mornings - i'm sure the conservation department insists on original style wooden windows but secondary glazing might help.
We would return to Olivers in a heartbeat if we found ourselves in Corfe Castle again and sincerely recommend it as a charming and comfortable place to stay - Thank You Leigh and Paul, we appreciated your hospitality and wish you every success.
