We stayed at Olivers for three nights at the start of April 2014 - we had the Bingham room which was made up as a super king size bed instead of two singles. Leigh rang us to check which we would prefer which was a nice touch and reassured us that they were expecting us on the dates booked online.
After dropping off luggage we parked around the corner using Olivers recently aquired parking permit which was better than using the pay and display car park we had planned.
The room is large with a seperate lobby with clothes rail and an en suite with shower. Comfortable, clean and simple furnishings made us feel at home with nice touches such as a good selection of tea and coffee, chocolates on our pillows and bottles of spring water.
Breakfasts were excellent - very personal service beautifully cooked and presented.
We throughly recommend Olivers and Leigh and Paul made us feel very welcome.
Difficult to find fault but two items of constructive criticism; bedside lighting had capsule lamps which were bright and harsh - a shaded lamp would give a softer, cosier glow and having original single glazed windows meant that condensation was evident in the mornings - i'm sure the conservation department insists on original style wooden windows but secondary glazing might help.
We would return to Olivers in a heartbeat if we found ourselves in Corfe Castle again and sincerely recommend it as a charming and comfortable place to stay - Thank You Leigh and Paul, we appreciated your hospitality and wish you every success.

Hello I think it needs to be us thanking you really. I really do appreciate the feedback, it is so helpful in moving us forward. You are spot on with the window issue and us being unable to have even traditional looking double glazing. We already have secondary glazing upstairs so we need to build in a schedule to get it in all over. Although I cant replaced the lights in Bingham yet, maybe a gentler bulb for now with a dimmer switch on the main? It would be lovely to see you back again and you would both be very welcome anytime. Thanks again for the excellent improvement feedback and the review. Leigh

Thoroughly recommend this B&B. We stayed in the Cromwell room on the top floor, which was a nice size, well appointed and quiet room. The breakfasts are great - good choice, with hot food cooked to order. The location is excellent - on a quiet road just 2 minutes walk from the centre of Corfe. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We hope to come back when the weather is better!

We stayed for a couple of nights at the end of March and arrived to a very warm and friendly welcome. The room was very comfortable, with beautiful decor befitting of the building's mix of modern and traditional feel, and a comfortable 'boutique' atmosphere to it. The little touches like fresh milk rather than UHT cartons show the care Leigh and Paul give to their guests. Breakfast was again a friendly chatty affair with a wide range of good food and lots of wonderful coffee. We both look forward to going back as soon as we can. This is a gem in the Isle of Purbeck.

Stayed for one night with my girlfriend, could not fault the Cromwell room. Bed comfortable, ensuite clean and in good working order. breakfast with plenty of choice and enjoyable. Just a shame we only stayed one night. But a big thank you for your help. Hope to visit again in the near future.

Very friendly, clean and modern with a highly customer-centric approach from the owners. The Bistro downstairs serves good food or is a great location for coffee and cakes or wine and a beer! Location is in a quite street away from the main road but very close to all attractions.
