A nice cool place to hide from the sun after a hot walk around the very interesting ruins. Ordering is simple, a good range of sandwiches and delivered after 5 mins. Sandwiches were generous although the salad provided by volunteer gardeners a little bruised but edible.

The outside area of the Tea Room is at the bottom of the castle and the view from it is magnificent. There is an extensive menu of sandwiches, light meals, cakes and beverages. My egg sandwich and coffee cake were delicious and could have served two.

The place to stop for refreshment when visiting the castle or the village. We did not eat, but just had cups of tea in the garden, which were ordered inside and brought out to our table very swiftly. Has toilet facilities too.

Having come down the hill from the castle, and it being such a beautiful afternoon we thought we would have cream tea. The tea was fine but I am sure the scones were either frozen or at least made a few days before. Even putting the jam and cream on made them fall apart. This was disappointing considering our expectations and the price

Found this little cake at Middle Beach on Studland Bay. Staff very helpful and the food was very good. I had a baked potato and it was a generous serving, and cooked very well, light and fluffy with lots of cheese. Prices are very reasonable and the view of the bay while you eat is really beautiful.
