Everything that I could say has been said - this review is simply to confirm those already written. I travelled here with my elderly mother and Kate's intuitive recommendations for restaurants and ideas for sightseeing were quite perfect.

Challow Farm has a long unbroken string of five-star reviews, and rightly so. We can only add one more. Kate Porter is a truly remarkable hostess and her breakfasts - served in the garden in summer - are cooked to perfection. The price is very fair for the quality. Our bedroom was perfectly arranged and supplied (though perhaps there were a couple too many decorative cushions on the bed in the modern English fashion). The location is ideal, since it is possible to walk into the attractive village of Corfe Castle in a couple of minutes and yet one is far from the constant flow of traffic along the main road.

Challow Farm is a good place to stay for those planning walks along the Jurassic Coast, but note that the nearest stretch of coastal path, eastward from Kimmeridge Bay, is closed this summer (something not well advertised on the web). The next stretch along - Dancing Ledge to Chapman's Pool with a circuit inland through Worth Matravers - is probably even finer.

This is how a B&B should be run, plenty of attention to detail.
Gorgeous house and gardens, in a lovely spot. The room was spotlessly clean (as it should be) Breakfast had a bespoke feel, with lots of home made choices.
I was made to feel like a guest , not just another customer.
I would definitely book again, and thats is the best compliment I could pay.

We have just returned from a short break at Challow Farm. What a beautiful 6 star B&B! We were treated royally by Kate with wonderful tea and cake on arrival and with all the little touches throughout our stay. Corfe is one of my favourite places as is the whole of Dorset but what a find Challow Farm is!. Beautiful room, fabulous breakfast and a wonderful location!

Having read all of the excellent reviews about this B&B, my expectations were pretty high before I arrived. I have to say that even the excellent reviews don't do justice to just how good this B&B is.

From the moment we arrived we were afforded the most fantastic service by Kate, the owner. Tea and homemade cake in the garden on arrival was a simply wonderfully welcoming treat. The rooms are exquisitely furnished and very, very comfortable making for a relaxing, restful stay. Ours had a view across Kate's immaculate gardens with the Purbeck Hills beyond. The gardens were a wonderful place to relax after a day out. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant. The homemade granola was a real hit with me. In fact I enjoyed every aspect of breakfast.

The thing about this B&B that really impressed me was the little details when it comes to service. Everything is done to perfection and you’re really made to feel at home.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Corfe, just a short stroll into the village & perfectly placed for exploring the region.

I can't speak highly enough of this B&B. Just go!!

Challow Farm far exceeded all the great reviews written and our high expectations of it. Walking distance from the centre of the village with great pubs and food and the amazing castle, but best of all is the wonderful welcome from Kate, the owner, and her tireless efforts to make sure your every need and wish is catered for. From tea and homemade cake on your arrival to the most sumptuous breakfast with fresh fruit and local produce. Even homemade shortbread in your room with your tea making items. The quality and comfort of the rooms is outstanding and all set in beautiful peaceful gardens.
The whole area of Purbeck is totally unspoilt with lots of things to do and places to see.
Kate will help you plan, advise and even book evening meals and trips locally for you with real enthusiasm.
I cannot think of one thing that could have made the weekend more special, it was perfect in every way....We even had brilliant weather.!
We will definitely be booking a return next year.

Room Tip: All rooms are superb .You only need to choose double or twin etc.
