“Excellent B&B”

Lovely B&B in a perfect location to enjoy the wonderful beaches of Studland Bay (it’s just a short walk to both South Beach and Middle Beach). Spacious bedroom with free Wi-Fi, TV, radio, mini fridge, tea/coffee facilities and ensuite bathroom. Very friendly and helpful owners. Really nice breakfast with a good choice of items (we opted for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which was delicious).

Very warm welcome. Made to feel at home - very friendly and helpful.
Big bedroom and bathroom separate from owner's living areas (shared entrance).
Good amount of hanging space, mini fridge, television and radio.
Lovely and paeceful, looks out over the garden.
Easy walking distance to the beach, a shop and a pub (which did food although we didn't eat there)..

We were staying for a wedding and the church and Harry Warren house were within easy walking distance.

This is a lovely B&B with everything you need to make you feel welcome and comfortable. The room was lovely, very quaint and charming. It was clean and tidy with everything you could need including a mini fridge and heated towel rail! We were also surprised at the size of the room and bathroom - very spacious for a cottage. There was a large choice of breakfast foods and our hosts were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble! It's a very short walk to the shop, beach, pub and riding centre - what more could you ask for! My sister and I stayed here in March 2012 whilst on a horse riding/cycling weekend and we couldnt have picked a better place! I would highly recommend this B&B and would definately return here.

The best thing about this b&b was the warm welcome we received from the owners, a retired vicar and his wife. They really made us feel at home and there were so many thoughtful touches. In the charming bedroom there was even a mini-fridge, as well as a tea tray with a great assortment of choices, magazines and a large basket of books. Most importantly, the beds were very comfortable. There were more than ample towels. Also we enjoyed an excellent breakfast each morning. The one proviso would be the steep stairs up to the self-contained unit, and the steps in the garden, making it somewhat difficult for the less able-bodied, although there were hand rails. That said, we feel that the Old School House certainly deserves five stars.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights whilst attending a wedding in Studland (there is a two night minimum stay at weekends, at least in the summer). We paid £80/night (including breakfast) for a double en suite room.

Old School House is a small B&B with (as far as I could tell) just one room. It's about five minutes' walk to the village centre or 15 to the beach. The B&B owners were happy to lend us keys so we could get back in after the wedding reception finished.

Our room was comfortable and a reasonable size (with quite a large en suite with shower over the bath rather than just a shower cubicle). My one complaint would be that the 'double' bed was actually just two twins pushed together, but with only one room I guess they want to be able to configure it as a twin as well.

The B&B room, which is upstairs, has its own separate staircase (ie not shared with the main house) leading up from a small hall/sitting area so you feel relatively private.

Breakfast was served in this small hall/sitting area. There was a good choice of cereals and fruit, followed by any combination of full English breakfast items.

We asked about wi-fi access but it either didn't seem to be available or they were unable/unwilling to give us the code. Seemed to cause a surprising amount of confusion!

So overall a nice place - it was a little expensive but everywhere in Studland seemed to be.
