We stayed with Gillian for 6 nights and enjoyed 6 excellent breakfasts! Fresh fruit salad was much appreciated as well as the selection of cereals and yoghurt. Local produce, especially the sausages and bacon tasted wonderful. Gillian was a perfect host, the house is beautiful and the bedrooms spacious and well appointed. It is an excellent centre for walking and the weather was perfect! We look forward to a repeat visit. Liz and Vivian Eddy

Booked two rooms for two nights for my wife and I and our young children. Gillian was a great host. Rooms were a good size and clean. Breakfast was very tasty. We all enjoyed our stay tremendously. Left my shoes and Gillian kindly posted them on to me.

I was a little concerned when we decided we needed a base to walk on the 'Island' that this would be an uncomfortable Georgian House. In fact the opposite was true run by Gillian Hole in a very professional way -comfortable and in a truly rural location forming part of this amazing rural and beautiful landscape within easy reach of the stark castle at Corfe. The rooms are large and comfortable but to achieve an evening meal it was a bit of a drive .

Room Tip: For a good outlook and view ask for a front room

We had a room at the front of the house, which had the added bonus of a view of Corfe castle in the distance.
We met first with our friends at the associated cavells restaurant near Kimmeridge Bay. We were the guided personally to the farmhouse, which is a magnificent old farmhouse - very grand.
Our room was very spacious with two very comfortable armchairs. The shower was good (quite fierce), but the hand basin is in the room itself -did not bother us. All the usaual accompaniments are provided,
We do like a hard mattress/bed but this one was very hard. However, we still slept well due to all the fresh air.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh fruit and youghurt available. The cooked breakfast was also very good. Although it was not on the menu, Smoked salmon and scrambled egg is available!
Bradle farmhouse is perfectly situated for exploring all of the Purbeck Hills area. Among the places we visited were Old Harry's Rock (& do visit nearby Joe's cafe on South Beach at Studland), the Blue Pool Good walk and fascinating museum), Durlston Park near Swanage (do visit the Centre), Kimmeridge Bay (spectacular & have refreshments at the Cavells Cafe). On the one wet/grey day we visited Kingston Lacey.
All in all one of the best breaks we have had in years, helped in no small part, by the Bradle Farmhouse B&B.

We stayed here with friends last month and were delighted with our choice. Although very much a working farm, the farmhouse itself is tranquil and very comfortable. Mrs Hole served delicious, well-presented breakfasts and was on hand to pass on her extensive knowledge of the area, which we had not visited before. If we come back to the Isle of Purbeck in future we would want to stay here again.

Lovely old farmhouse is a secluded, picturesque valley. Rooms are spacious and well-appointed with some nice welcoming touches. Great for a leisurely stroll into the beautiful village of Kimmeridge. Good breakfast as well...
