“Fantastic cinema”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

This is my local cinema, it is independently run by volunteers. The seats are comfy, plenty of leg room and you can take your drink in with you to watch the film. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Why go anywhere else.

“Well done volunteers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 November 2013

As this little cinema is an old Oddfellows Hall we thought the picture would be grainy but it was all digital. A lovely old-fashioned experience with the necessary modern touch. Where else can you take your beer from the bar into the auditorium? Double seats in the back row - what a cute touch. Well done all the volunteers who keep this little place alive and kicking.

“Well worth a visit.”

Well trained staff, excellent seating, comfortable and spacious. Good ticket prices. The whole place has a lovely feel, it has been tastefully up dated and yet still has the romance of a period cinema.

“The Great Gatsby”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 August 2013

We booked online and were totally unaware that this was a preview to the showing of Leonardo DiCaprio's The Great Gatsby....and what a fabulous evening...Everyone was turning up in 1920's fancy dress...wow.. what an amazing start to the evening, with the red carpet rolled out and a beautiful vintage car arriving for the special event...With complimentary cocktails....Gatsby drink...then the film..in the superb and perfect setting of the art deco cinema. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
