“Caravan First Timers!”

We bought our caravan a couple of months ago and decided to try out this site as it's only an hour and a half away. Very friendly, spotless with excellent facilities, it made our first time out a real pleasure. Lovely area with nice walks, highly recommended

This was our first visit to this site and we were so impressed that we booked for next summer before we left.
The site is well laid out and despite being quite large still seems like a smaller one due to careful planting and planning.
The facilities including the pool were always spotless and access to forest walks were an added bonus.
One unusual feature was the herb troughs near toilet blocks where you could help yourself to fresh herbs for free. This was a nice addition - Thank you

just returned from a two week stay, its the first time we've been and it was great, we stayed on the superior pitches which were a good size and supplied TV, water, waste water and a hook up, there is wifi available (£3 for 24hrs one off)

the pitch was level and convenient for the toilet/shower block, there is everything onsite such as laundry and shop, there are some fantastic walks around the site even the foot paths where dry when it was raining!

the site is extremely well kept and the staff are really excellent and approachable, there is easy access to the site even for the larger outfits.

if your looking to stay in the area give this site a try you wont be disappointed its clean, quite at night and relaxed.

Room Tip: try a superior pitch

Very pleasant place to stay. Prefer grass pitches to gravel ones but apart from that and no free WiFi (not sure how much they were charging went to the pub & used theirs instead!) no complaints. Spotless shower/toilet/laundry/washing block. Were lucky to be there on a Tuesday when the fish & chip van was there - possibly the best I have ever had in the UK! Definitely worth a visit, am sure we will return next year for a couple of days.

Nice campsite that we stayed at for 5 days. As previously mentioned excellent helpful check in. Wifi on site, albeit a little slow. This camp site is extremely efficiently ran, which will suit most people. Well stocked shop and no bar on site, which result in a nice stay. Nice pool although lots of rules " for everyone's safety" - No jumping? What else is a pool for when you are a child? Didn't see a sign for "no petting" maybe I will try that next time?
A really nice site, a little pricey, but you generally get what you pay for, this was no exception. Would definitely recommend particularly if you look for a site with No bar or entertainment facilities and don't mind paying for quality!

Fabulous, showers clean, facilities good. Shop could open earlier than 8.30am but no hardship. Super setting. The swimming pool is great and heated so Kids loved it whilst the forest has good trails for joggers, dog walkers and hikers alike. Lovely spot and great local attractions - allinall, fantastic!

We've just returned from a 5 day stay at Wareham Forest Park taking our touring caravan with wife and 5 year old daughter.

We had an excellent pitch backing onto woodland, where our daughter loved playing and making lots of friends. Great place to use as a base, where you can go off cycling.

Very clean site, friendly staff, couldn't fault it.
