“A Little Pricey But Still Worth It. Superb Historical Site.”
Reviewed 20 August 2014

Costs £6.50 gift aid or £5.50 without per head, car parking included and it's a small one at that! So don't be surprised if it's full when you arrive, it was on our visit. Small hut at entrance for buying tickets, drinks, guide books etc. I decided to buy the small guide book, cost £3. Anyway what an interesting little spot with such a wealth if history concerning T E Lawrence. At the beginning of this year we did the whole Lawrence of Arabia thing in Jordan so whilst in Dorest just had to finish it off with a couple of visits here. It was surreal to be standing in the same garage as he kept his beloved motorcycle looking at the gallery then to enter the cottage, an eye opening place to say the least and virtually exactly how he left it when he died. The 'ships cabin' room is something else and was for his visitors. There are some great photographs in his bed room from the Arab revolt too. I thought it was well worth the money and a great location.

“Lawrence of Arabia's last home.”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

A very strange place to visit and even stranger to think of someone living there, but that is what TE Lawrence did until his death. No real batrhroom and no kitchen makes you wonder how he managed, but his study was very cosy.
Worth a visit.

“A small insight into the man”
Reviewed 16 August 2014 via mobile

Such a tiny hideaway for this complex man. The house it's contents and Lawrence's own design provide a small insight into the complex character of T E Lawrence. If he interests you then a visit to Clouds Hill is a must.

“Overpriced”
Reviewed 15 August 2014

It was busy when we visited. When we had finished looking round the first room( which was very dark), a guide told another group that he had a torch if people needed it. Whilst I know that the house does not have electricity, it could have been explained that torches were available prior to entering the room. The guide asked if anyone had any questions, and when I asked, he said that he did not know the answer and that he would have to look it up but made no effort to do so.
I felt that the attraction was overpriced and the lack of knowledge did disappoint me.
