We went for the second time to the Purbeck Pizzeria, the pizzas were once again very good but very expensive. The side order of tomato and onion salad was very poor and again expensive at £5. This restaurant has the potential succeed if it lowers its prices to encourage local trade. When went on a Friday night only one other table was occupied.

We had lovely food here, great portion sizes and really tasty made in a huge pizza oven. Great table service, beautiful restaurant and the staff could not have been more friendly. The service was fantastic. We sat by a roaring fire, on a cold night, on our first night out together after having our daughter and it was perfect. Thankyou.

We came here for our Christmas lunch as we love authentic pizza and live locally, we were not disappointed, in fact it was the best pizza we'd ever eaten. The pizzas are all wood fired and are freshly made to order. For dessert we had the Chocolate Nemesis (with local Purbeck ice cream) which really is the most delicious of chocolate cakes, again homemade. Wonderful service. The restaurant was beautifully presented and all spotlessly clean, with far reaching views over the river, (on the Quay at Wareham), we will return!

We called here on impulse and were the only ones in the restuarant. The man 'in charge' was very pleasant but the food was really too expensive for what it was; two pizzas at £11 and £13 each. The quality was acceptable but one of them was overcooked. The bread sticks were home made (a nice touch) but they were so hard that some were inedible! We live in Purbeck and like to support local businesses but sadly we won't be visiting this one again.

Excellent service from start to finish, we were seated at a table within seconds of walking through the door. Pizzas were served in reasonable time, very nice and handmade, full of flavour. I had the calzone meatball pizza, it was lovely, [especially the meatballs] and hubby had the inferno, we were both very impressed. We had the lemon and mango sorbet for dessert which was a lovely finish, we will definately go back .
