Unfortunately we didn't get to sample the dinner as we were only staying for bed and breakfast but the room was really lovely, and pretty spacious considering we were three adults! We had a delicious breakfast and will hopefully return next year and sample the dinner too! Accommodating and friendly staff :)

If you have a special occassion as we did for our tenth wedding anniversary, definately go for the seven course meal.We had the most amazing experience with food.Every dish that was served was delicious ,complemented by awsome wines at each of the four main courses. It is an experience to put your faith in a chef, to serve all these courses and not be dissapointed by even one.We savoured every mouthfull and cannot emphasise enough the amazing combinations and flavours. You really are the top chef for us James. Also the staff were very friendly and helpull. We will be back soon.Thank you again.

lovely hotel, easy to get to, clean ,comfortable , and quite quiet as it is quite close to the road. I have stayed twice now and have to say that the second time the room was small but it was for one night and we did arrive late, but if I were staying for more I would have been disappointed. Breakfast was very nice and we were treated very well by all staff.

Room Tip: rooms on the south side are quieter.

Me and my boyfriend stayed and had the surprise dinner from the menu....FABULOUS! Food was extremely nice, that of a Michelin standard! The service was also of a Michelin standard, all staff were so pleasant and attentive throughout our whole time at the hotel. Beds are ridiculously comfortable and we had breakfast in our room which was lovely. Will definitely be coming back to stay!

This place looks lovely from the road and the restaurant looks fine. We were attending a party in the room at the back. The area outside for parking is very untidy and the entrance is nowhere near as grand as the restaurant. What really annoyed us was the price of the drinks. Not much choice and £5.50 a pint WHAT A RIP OFF.
