Visited today. Sign saying go to a table and order the till. Open plan cafe so people are aware you are coming and going.

Looked at the menu and thought £7.50 for the small breakfast was rather costly let alone £9.99 for the full English but I was hungry.

Went to the till to order and the staff member clocked me and busied himself with making coffees. No hello no eye contact while I was kept waiting.

After a few minutes I left. Went to the Gregg's in the garage next door.

Won't be returning.

Thank Andy B

Just what we were looking for on our way to golf weekend, pleasant staff and lovely breakfast, could have done with mugs instead of cups for our coffees though, maybe we should of asked, will go back

Having visited this café on the main A31 near Wimborne a few times since it opened we dropped in for a late breakfast yesterday while passing. Compared to somewhere like Wetherspoon's, the breakfast prices are higher than one might expect for an average café menu (around £7.50 for full English with a bottomless coffee pot) but it's clean & tidy with quick service. One can choose to eat in (order at the till with table number) or if in a hurry, grab something from the take-away menu on the wall. Its early opening, large car park & seating area makes it an ideal location for groups meeting up prior to heading off somewhere so it can get a bit busy early on to mid-morning. An added bonus is that it's adjacent to a large petrol station which is often the cheapest in the area. Be careful of the very restricted view of high speed traffic from the right on leaving the car park, safer to drive around to the far side of the petrol station for a better view in both directions. I see there are a few negative reviews but can only say this hasn't been my experience,

So... Won't be stopping here again... Very disappointed in the food. EVERYTHING is dripping with grease.

£1.90 for a small glass of Diet Coke or Sunkist. I would have expected unlimited refills for that.

Honestly... Keep driving and find a Little Chef.

Ps. This is 5 mins from my house, and I won't be back.

We have used The Roadside Cafe many times now and each time we stop we receive excellent food, excellent service, and cannot recommend enough.
The staff are so friendly and service is very quick. Refills of coffee when you want them ......just find this a great place and will always stop here when visiting family down in Plymouth.
Thanks to all staff for doing a great job.

Thank Joyce M
