We have eaten at this place lots of times in the past and everything appeared to be freshly made and was tasty and never made us ill. However, it seems goodmthings don't last forever.
We were very hungry on the way home, having missed lunch, so we stopped by to eat. This is a nice big very airy place with a good sized car park. We both ordered a steak and ale pie and chips, mine with mushy pease, his with baked beans. Virtually everything comes with chips here, just a couple of main meals have mash. It was served relatively quickly which made me suspicious. Microwaved? The pies were very average, lots of heavy pastry, not much meat, chips, mushy peas, baked beans average. My husband said his beans tasted "cheap". However, we ate it all because we were so hungry. Service was very good.
That evening we both suffered terrible stomach ache, had diarrohea all night and were decidely off colour all the next day. Had the pies been standing around for a while? I don't know. All I know is, that we have decided we won't go there any more. Our meals seemed to be Brake Brothers cheap food, delivered ready to go in the microwave with no preparation of fresh food.
Such a shame.

Out on a day trip to check a route through Dorset. Used as a meeting point for lots of bikers and we can see why. Well looked after by very happy staff, the place was very clean. Started with a filter coffee which was as good as filter gets, very nice. Went on to order two baguettes and chips (one hot one cold. Not cheap but massive portions of everything! (Might be better to reduce the size and the cost could go down) Shame we couldn't eat it all! First class café food hot, fresh and everything brought to our table very quickly. Would not hesitate to use again! And by the way if I have a complaint I make everyone know, but not least the management so they can put it right!

Although we only live just up the road, we often pop in to the roadside café for breakfast on a Sunday morning after visiting Wimborne Market. The service is very quick, the food is plentiful with quite a wide choice. Really good breakfast and very pleasant staff
