We held our wedding service and reception here in October 2012 in the Monsoon suite, the staff were great very helpful and friendly, Everything was well organized and the day ran smoothly. The Monsoon suite itself was great exactly what we wanted and we were very impressed with the final product, all our guests commented on how much they loved the room and the food was great, very large portions. We then stayed in October 2013 on the night of our First Wedding Anniversary, again we had a great experience, one downfall was the bed wasn't double it was two singles pushed together, but it didn't bother us too much. Had nothing but great service and everything is to a high service, would recommend Lazaats to anyone who wants to hold there wedding there, or wants to eat there, or stay in one of their rooms.

We held our wedding reception at lazaat in October 2013. Everything was organised so well and ran so smoothly. The change over from day to night was seamless. We couldn't of wished for better. The pavilion suite was fantastic as were all the staff involved in making out big day the best day of our lives. Thank you

Stayed here for one night and found the rooms to be great (a lot better than the price would suggest) and the food in the restaurant (dinner and breakfast) to also be great. Staff friendly and pretty good location. In fact, they should probably charge more!

Having stayed at a number of hotels in this area, I have finally found one that just perfect.
My room was lovely, comfortable and just what I expected.
All the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
I decided to eat and that was excellent nicely cooked and flavoured to perfection.

On arrival at this hotel the reception staff were helpful and friendly. We had been informed AFTER we had booked that the hotel would be holding an event that evening and so we had been moved to what the hotel described as their "Quieter Room". The room turned out to be the disabled room with two single beds that had been pushed together. We had booked and paid for a double room with a bath. Almost immediately it became clear that this room was probably the nearest room to the function and so we were unable to sleep until well past midnight because of loud music, singing and general reveling. The beds were adequate but in need of replacement mattresses with springs twanging every time you moved. The shower room was just that, no bath. Fixtures were coming away from the wall and the shower the next morning was cold. Guest should be very aware that the hotel has a policy of charging credit cards for any item that may be missing when housekeeping staff conduct an inventory after departure (robes, mini bar etc). We did notice that only one robe was present in the room and insisted that reception enter the room and confirm this, which they did.

The room was cold as no central heating appears to be installed in this hotel. The room was equipped with a small electric radiator and a small mobile radiator.

Breakfast was adequate. The restaurant staff, like the reception staff were pleasant, helpful and cheerful

We did complain to reception on departure, and we have followed this up with a written complaint which, as this is written, have had no response. A very disappointing first and last visit.
