My husband and I just recently had the delightful pleasure of spending two evenings at Knowe Na Mara where our wonderful hosts, Angela, Andy and Scuffy, greeted us with such warmth and welcome, The B&B is absolutely beautiful, as was our room (the room with the double bed). We were part of a bus tour group and very fortunately for us there was not enough rooms at the local hotel so we were put up in Knowe Na Mara for 2 days. We felt like we hit the jackpot! Not only did Angela and Andy offer superb service, but they were kind enough to go out of their way to drive us back and forth to the bus pick up point two (early) mornings in a row and retrieve us at the end of our tour days. Angela makes a breakfast that is bar none, the best in Ireland and her presentation is exquisite! To top things off we got to spend some time with their family dog Scuffy who by far is the sweetest little dog next to our own, Do yourself a favor and book a stay at Knowe Na Mar; you will not regret one moment of it.
