Nice hotel, comfortable room and very friendly staff, very low water pressure so i ended up running a bath instead as the shower was not great, no drama though. Nice sized bed and the room was very quiet. I had the cooked breakfast which was very good, nice sausages in particular, the breads were also very good. Cannot comment on evening food as we ate out. Checkout in the morning was a joy! took a very short time indeed and the staff were very friendly will have to come back to this part of the world on a regular basis now and see no reason not to keep using this hotel, nice staff also… it makes the difference

Room Tip: I had 209, it was fine for a single night stay

Staff were great, so helpful and welcoming at all times, afternoon tea also a bonus!
Showers in the rooms are absolutely appalling, no pressure in either of our rooms (207 & 211). We resulted in washing our hair (in preparation for a wedding) over the sink. Room was of good size and very clean though.

Stayed here on a Saturday night at the start of March with friends.

I had been here once before at a wedding and really liked the big staircase as you came in the front door; made the hotel feel really grand. However someone has refurbished since then and this has been removed to be replaced with a bar. The main entrance now is not very impressive and a bit corporate looking. That aside, the hotel is definitely a 3 star; it's quite old fashioned and lacks atmosphere.

The staff were all very nice and attentive; even on a busy Saturday night we didn't have to wait long for a drink. We did think that there would be a residents bar but the bar closes at 1ish.

The rooms are nice but very dark. Wifi worked which was good. The bathroom was really small; barely enough room to use the loo without being in the bath!! The shower was terrible; no water pressure at all so it just came out in a drip.

The main letdown though was the breakfast. Bins over flowing, fruit covered in icing, food running out and not replaced, not enough staff and those that were there were rushed off there feet. One of our party asked for sauce and it was delivered with the line 'can you make sure you leave that back when you are finished'. Just really poor.

Wouldn't go back to be honest; had a nice time but that was down to the company rather than the hotel.

This was well-located for my business and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. Water pressure was too low with a poor shower and non-flush loo. Breakfast was disappointing with left over fruit, every thing else from a packet or mass produced. Despite a large menu, supper was not very good and everything smothered in processed sauces of some kind. Staff were very friendly though and that made up for a lot. Live music and many locals in.

We were there with family for a special evening and the meal was very good. The staff new who we were there with and made everyone welcome . brought any extras without an issue and the food was excellent. The restaurant was pretty busy but service was good and would go back . Maybe a bit old fashioned for some but service and good food are never wrong .

Stayed for a night last week with friends - rooms were nice and were well equipped.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing due to a lack of staff I would say - hotel was very busy on sunday morning yet there was only 2 members of staff on duty to attend to tables with tea/coffee and toast etc. The brown sauce which had to be asked for came in a cereal bowl and was quite congealed! The fruit which was on display did not look fresh and was coated with what looked like icing sugar!! A contintental option was sparse to say the least - thin slices of cooked ham and babybel cheeses!!
Staff are pleasant and helpful and the hotel is nicely decorated but the food is a big let down.

Adair Arms is a little gem in Ballymena. Just been recently renovated and it has made the hotel warm and inviting. It had gotten a little run down. Food is great and well priced. Great spot for afternoon tea or coffee and scones mid morning. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Staff are excellent and will attend to your every need. Love the place and visit on regular basis. Even offer a bit of live music at the weekends!!

Room Tip: Rooms to the back quiet!
