Perfection ...
Just back from a two night stay at Galgorm Resort and Spa and have to say there is no where like it! Having recently stayed at Carton House and The Merchant I can honestly say that I couldn't compare them in terms of quality, staff and atmosphere. We come back here every year, sometimes several times and for good reason! This time our stay was to celebrate our mum's 70th birthday- and we certainly celebrated in style!
The grounds and hotel itself are meticulously maintained and the rooms (overlooking the spa and river) were spacious and tastefully decorated. Each and every member of staff we encountered throughout our stay was so accommodating and went out of their way to provide the best levels of customer service possible. I would like to mention especially Paul, Joe and Jack, the concierges who were so friendly, helpful and made us feel so much at home! The atmosphere in Galgorm is just so relaxing... It is truly the perfect getaway! We ate in Gillies bar our first night, where food and service were amazing and on the second day we had afternoon tea in the beautiful new conservatory - a fantastic experience! Can't wait for yet another visit!!

Not long home from an overnight stay at Galgorm, as usual the staff never fail to disappoint- check in was speedy and the crowds were managed fantastically, people informed and assurance given at all times as to the length of check in. Afternoon tea was super delicious and the seating beautifully overlooking the River Maine was just the cream in the bun- literally!
We then enjoyed an afternoon basking in the sunshine and dip pining in and out of the bubbles-
Evening meal in Fratellis was exceptional. Service was first class with clear explanation given as to what our deal included.
On check out after a 1st class breakfast I enquired as to the new renaissance suite- without further ado Paul McGrath was on hand to show us through the new suite, demonstrate the coloured lighting, outdoor area and entrance. A further tour of the ghost room and phaeton room was given and all our questions answered as to the history of Galgorm and so on.
A very pleasant man who nothing is a problem to. Quality of service and willingness to help was exceptional.
Without doubt, we'll be back-)
Thank you Paul -)))

Room Tip: River view is always a treat if you can!

We got married here on the 8th June in the four seasons suite, and were so glad we did. Jemma was our wedding coordinator who skilfully and patiently worked with us tirelessly for months before. On the day Ender and his team worked to perfection, the food was outstanding, like no other. We had a day to remember and so did each of our guests. Thanks Galgorm, see you soon!!

We booked an overnight stay last minute on 15th June £195 for superior room B & B including dinner. A friend had highly recommended this hotel so we arrived with high expectations whereby we were greeted at the door and our bags taken in to reception, (good start). Very pleasant staff, Paul showed us to our room and was very nice and informative. Unfortunately our "superior" room overlooked the car park and there were some renovation work going on outside our window (room 416) not exactly the "wow" factor we hoped for ! However the spa was amazing and the sunny weather just added to the luxury of it. Sadly dinner was well below standard and when my husband complained about the quality of steak the member of staff politely smiled and apologised but did nothing about it. Our bathroom had a sewer smell and the plumbing awoke us at 6.30am. All in all disappointing! Room tip ..don't take room 416 as it looks like work could be going on for a while.

Booked an evening at Fratelli restaurant and was totally amazed at the high standard of service.
Have been before and cannot recommend this resort enough, we arrived early and enjoyed a drink in the Mulberry garden with heated seats around the fireplace area I think you would enjoy at drink there at anytime of the year.
Enquired about the spa treatments and was given a guided tour by Tara Moore Spa guest relations manager, very pleasant and informative . Spa looks amazing so more trips booked !!!!
Shawn White Fratelli manager and all staff finish the evening of with a very high standard of food and service. A must visit venue

Just spent 2 nights at this superb hotel. Would have to use superlatives to describe everything - staff, food, grounds, comfort, atmosphere- worth every penny! Was given gift voucher otherwise would never have been here-can't believe I wasn't here sooner. We had a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the river. It was amazing! Ate in Gillies both nights-food was outstanding. For anyone with a special occasion or celebration coming up, this is definitely the place to make it special and unforgettable!!

Room Tip: It may cost a bit more but for that special occasion I would book the deluxe room with balcony overl...

Myself and sister booked an overnight stay to celebrate our Mums 70th birthday. From the moment we set foot in the door..what a treat!! Every member of staff we encountered could not have been more helpful nor pleasant. The 4 course meal in Fratellis restaurant was so good, we almost had to be rolled out. The menu was explained in detail and again the service was second to none. When we arrived back to our bedroom, there was a birthday card and box of chocolates waiting for Mum, a very special added touch that made her evening. The breakfast was delicious, and noting that the fruit was prepared freshly and not from a tin was an added tick from me. The sun was shining, and sitting in the hot tub and jacuzzi pool almost felt like we were on the French Riviera! Although we had booked mum in for a pamper package, myself and my sister decided last minute we would like to endulge too. Despite it being so late and not expecting there to be any appointments, understandably!, the manager managed to squeeze us both in for express treatments also. Bliss! The stay was rounded off by Afternoon Tea overlooking the river. We initialy thought the price was a little dear, until we started eating and realised that we couldn't even finish the delicious food served to us! All in all, a wonderful 24hrs that had the 3 of us leaving feeling like we had spent a week away! I'm already trying to decide when to make my next booking...
