Honestly, I don't know where to start. This was the second time we'd stayed at the Galgorm. My wife and I discovered it 18 months ago and having been dying to return. Work in Belfast provided the opportunity to travel from England and so we grabbed a weekend break in a deluxe room with dinner in the River Room. The whole experience from beginning to end was outstandingly good. The facilities are spacious and luxurious and since we were last there, the hotel has continued to improve and develop. The conservatory provides a new area to relax with stunning river views. Afternoon teas during the day, pre-dinner cocktails at night along with an impressive Gin list too. The staff are universally courteous, cheerful and helpful. A few conversations during the weekend revealed a happy working environment with many choosing a longish commute to work there. Yes it isn't cheap but it is great value. I have nothing but praise for the whole operation and can't wait to return. Clearly the resort is well known in Northern Ireland but I'm keeping this one secret over the water...

Room Tip: Ask for a river view.

Frankie that's the name of the person that looked after our sons wedding and what a job he done
All prises the wedding package included rolls Royce car the car and driver were excellent
Not that I got the car but the driver couldn't help enough the hotel staff polite friendly and always helpful service above and beyond
We stayed on the Sunday and were disappointed that we could not bring our grandchild to the pool
But do understand that it's a relaxing spa for adults so no problem there gillies bar and grill great food and the same great service we are planing a spa break to revisit this great hotel
Thanks galgorm

Room Tip: I booked a suite overlooking the river it was great with a patio area

We recently (May '14) had our Wedding at Galgorm in the Four Wedding Seasons Suite and I can say without hesitation that it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We had stayed at Galgorm before so knew what to expect from the hotel but I was so impressed with the wedding facilities, organisation and team at the hotel across the days we were there. Everything was organised perfectly and I can say I don't have one complaint - and I can be famously hard to please. I really got a sense that the staff there really cared and its fair to say that that doesn't always seem to be the case in other places. All my guests commented on the venue and the fact that they had such as great time. I have only the highest praise for the team at Galgorm. I would recommend anyone considering Galgorm for this most important of days.

Room Tip: The suites are excellent and overlook the river. Ask for one with a balcony / terrace.

Stayed 3 nights last week in a 5th floor room overlooking the river. Probably the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. Spa is incredible, very relaxing with lots of different experience zones. Book spa treatments in advance - they were fully booked for our stay on arrival so couldn't do any, just used the free thermal spa. We actually switched rooms after the first night, initially we overlooked the mulberry garden but the outside bar area can get a bit noisy if you have the window open - staff were great when we asked and moved us without any fuss. Gillies food for dinner was ok, average pub food. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice. We would recommend staying here.

Perfection ...
Just back from a two night stay at Galgorm Resort and Spa and have to say there is no where like it! Having recently stayed at Carton House and The Merchant I can honestly say that I couldn't compare them in terms of quality, staff and atmosphere. We come back here every year, sometimes several times and for good reason! This time our stay was to celebrate our mum's 70th birthday- and we certainly celebrated in style!
The grounds and hotel itself are meticulously maintained and the rooms (overlooking the spa and river) were spacious and tastefully decorated. Each and every member of staff we encountered throughout our stay was so accommodating and went out of their way to provide the best levels of customer service possible. I would like to mention especially Paul, Joe and Jack, the concierges who were so friendly, helpful and made us feel so much at home! The atmosphere in Galgorm is just so relaxing... It is truly the perfect getaway! We ate in Gillies bar our first night, where food and service were amazing and on the second day we had afternoon tea in the beautiful new conservatory - a fantastic experience! Can't wait for yet another visit!!

Not long home from an overnight stay at Galgorm, as usual the staff never fail to disappoint- check in was speedy and the crowds were managed fantastically, people informed and assurance given at all times as to the length of check in. Afternoon tea was super delicious and the seating beautifully overlooking the River Maine was just the cream in the bun- literally!
We then enjoyed an afternoon basking in the sunshine and dip pining in and out of the bubbles-
Evening meal in Fratellis was exceptional. Service was first class with clear explanation given as to what our deal included.
On check out after a 1st class breakfast I enquired as to the new renaissance suite- without further ado Paul McGrath was on hand to show us through the new suite, demonstrate the coloured lighting, outdoor area and entrance. A further tour of the ghost room and phaeton room was given and all our questions answered as to the history of Galgorm and so on.
A very pleasant man who nothing is a problem to. Quality of service and willingness to help was exceptional.
Without doubt, we'll be back-)
Thank you Paul -)))

Room Tip: River view is always a treat if you can!

We got married here on the 8th June in the four seasons suite, and were so glad we did. Jemma was our wedding coordinator who skilfully and patiently worked with us tirelessly for months before. On the day Ender and his team worked to perfection, the food was outstanding, like no other. We had a day to remember and so did each of our guests. Thanks Galgorm, see you soon!!
