“Still as perfect as always”

My partner and I stayed in Galgorm in June 2014 for our 3rd wedding anniversary, as we do every year. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family with a warm welcome and the superior customer service we have come to expect from this outstanding establishment.
We met with the customer services manager at the start of our stay in relation to a matter we had brought to her attention and we felt that she dealt with it extremely professionally and we left satisfied that the issue was in capable hands.
Every member of staff made us feel so welcome and so important. As always Paul the concierge and also Jack could not possibly have done any more for us and it was lovely of them to take time of their hectic day to make us feel welcome.
Frankie the MC also deserves a mention as he too goes the extra mile to welcome you back and promotes an extremely positive and professional image of the resort as a whole.
If I ran a hotel I would definitely aspire to have staff like these.
We ate in Gillies restaurant on both nights of our stay and it was excellent.
We got a junior suite and it was definitely worth the extra money, we felt spoilt throughout our stay and we are looking forward to returning to this oasis of tranquility as soon as possible.
Thanks again to all members of staff!!!!

Attended a wedding at the Galgorm last weekend. Food and staff were excellent, cant fault any aspect of the meal or service provided. Drink typically overpriced for this type of place, expect to pay over £4 for a pint!! Lovely location for a wedding but I would guess it is very expensive.

This hotel is such a great place. My husband & I spend our anniversary here every year and it is pure indulgence.

The grill room serves lovely food, the staff are warm and genuine, they cannot do enough to help.

We stay in a suite each time and its lovely, the free standing bath is luxury. The bed is huge and comfortable and with the view of the river you can't go wrong.

We use the spa in the evenings, sitting in the outside hot tub, freezing cold, snow, stars, rushing river.... it's a really blissful peaceful place.

Love love love this place. It's a must if you are looking for a relaxing place to recharge your batteries.

Stayed here after a wedding a few weeks ago. Staff were accommodating and the bed is the comfiest bed around! Breakfast is a buffet style, they have a good selection from fry to crepes and cereals, although the layout is not the best and they do not check your room number, so anyone could walk in. Pool the next day has to be used before 11pm, which is ridiculous considering after a wedding most people lie in hung-over. Only got half an hour in the pool because of this, apart from that the outside pool and facilities are excellent.

In the build up to my spa visit I wasn't really looking forward to it due to my communications with the spa reservations team. I had received a voucher for the spa as a gift and was unsure of what it actually entailed but two emails to the spa and an unreturned phone call meant I had few answers. In the end my friend ended up calling and booking treatments for us both. However on arrival at the spa the staff were all very friendly and professional, it appears I was just unfortunate in making my reservation. The thermal spa was very relaxing and alongside the Maine massage made for a perfect treat but the reservations issue was rather disappointing.

i attended this hotel as a wedding guest.it was a fabulous wedding and no little detail was overlooked.the staff were helpful and we have never seen such and efficient way of feeding so many people.the hotel and grounds were gorgeous as was the function room we were in.
the service was first class and the staff are a credit to the hotel.
The only thing i heard people complain about was the air conditioning being far too cold and the bar kept running out of draught beer.i wasnt drinking so i didnt care!
the layout of the resort was a bit confusing to us but im sure it was just because we hadnt been before.
there was 4 weddings on the day we were there and to watch all the brides in various locations around the hotel having their pictures done was lovely to watch.
its worth the star rating it gets and might even treat my husband to a weekend over christmas as we didnt sleep over in this hotel.
the only tip i could give is if you need to travel to another hotel after a function you need to book a taxi well in advance because several wedding parties ending at the same time and trying to get a taxi is a nightmare!
very impressed with the wonderful food too.i could hardly walk after the 5 course meal.the food and drink and wonderful service flowed and a great day was had by all!

Galgorm is not the sort of hotel that you find by accident. It is a jewel of a resort located near the small Antrim County town of Ballymena, about 40 miles north of Belfast. Not many Americans come here, unless they have a good reason. Fortunately, I was there for a family wedding and I am very glad that I came. The staff is superb and went out of their way to take care of our every need, including private taxi tour of local attractions, such as the Giant’s Causeway and Carrick a-Rede rope bridge. We paid a little extra for a slightly upgraded room and found it to be very clean and comfortable. There are many wedding receptions there, so the bands can be annoying when they play into the wee hours. The free Wi-fi was reliable, and the breakfast buffet was superb. There are several restaurants on the property, but we only tried the casual dining venue, which was very nice. The grounds are manicured to perfection and the flowers are spectacular. This resort is noted for its Spa and Golfing opportunities, but we did not participate due to wedding activities. The place is not cheap, but you get good value for your money.

Room Tip: You might want a room overlooking the running stream that flows by the hotel.
