Cushendun village is one of my favourite places in Northern Ireland. Leave the 21st century behind and relax in a picturesque village that's unspoiled by modern business. With it's green hills meandering down to a white sandy beach on one side to a peaceful river walk on the other, you can't help but unwind & succumb to it's authentic charms. If all that fresh air gives you an appetite then there's always Mary McBrides for a home cooked meal & that must have pint of Guinness!

“Antrim Coast”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

Cushundun Village is one of many small, interesting places to visit on your tour of the beautiful North Coast of Antrim in Northern Ireland. The scenery is spectacular anytime, but on a sunny day it is better than just about any place you can imagine. It is an unspoiled, area of "Outstanding Natural Beauty" and simply a must do trip if you are anywhere in Ireland.
Everywhere has a place where you can get a great cup of real coffee, or something stronger if you prefer!
It is a great day trip to start from Belfast and drive all the way to Magilligan Point on Lough Foyle. You will need to stop at Carrickfergus, Ballykelly, Glen Arm, Carnlough, Cushendall, Cushendun,Tor Head, Ballycastle, Giants Causeway, Portrush, Portstewart, Downhill & Mussenden Temple, then Benone Beach! A great way to spend a day or 2!!

“Lovely little gem of a village”
Reviewed 25 May 2013

I was visiting the north coast recently with some friends and stopped off in Cushendun village. All I can say is that its a lovely spot and on a warm sunny day, the beach just outside of the village would be a great place to stop off at.
