We were over for wedding at the nearby Galgorm Manor and decided to economise by staying nearby( I think this is a fairly common source of custom). Our double room at the front was generally clean, but the bedroom carpet(which was beige) was covered in ink stains. There was a a coffee cup, a dirty glass and a coverless duvet on the landing when we arrived and they were still on the landing when we left the next day. Breakfast was disappointingly small ( a quarter of a soda farl?) and warmed over rather than fresh. The staff were efficient and pleasant, although not friendly

I was over for a wedding and just needed something cheap and cheerful!
Upon arriving at Beechfield, me and my fiancé were greeted at the door by the manager with a smile.
He showed us to our room and made sure we were happy...which we were.
The room was clean, bed sheets smelt awesome which is a big thing for me. There was plenty of tea, coffee etc and if we ran out all we had to do was ask for more!
Breakfast in the morning was beautiful, served with plenty of tea coffee and toast.
We had absolutely everything we needed.
Management and the house maids were a lovely bunch of people which makes all the difference.
I was extremely happy staying here and honestly cannot see why people have written bad reviews. It's value for money and if I was ever in the area again I can honestly say I would be staying here again! :)

This just has to be the most disgusting place ever, dont know how its still in business. the smell of the place as we entered was vile, and it just gets worse from there. The bed clothes hadnt been changed, carpet filthy, dirty bathroom, cobwebs, etc etc, its was just horrible, a animal would have a better home

A typical guesthouse. Our bedroom and the public areas were in fairly good order. The bedroom was a reasonable size and, being at the back, was quiet. The cooked breakfast was fine. It seemed a bit expensive but nevertheless I'm surprised by some of the other reviews posted here.

Expensive, bits of the walls had been replastered and not painted, something funny as a stain on the wall and a large stain on the carpet, in short unpleasant. The women who work there seem nice but the owner shoud be ashamed to let out a room like the one we stayed in. Also my husband has an American accent and suddenly the price of the room was increased by 50%!

The house is built in a way that you can hear everybody and every door..... Bathroom not very comfortable. Bed terrible soft, Windows not consistent - wind blowing thought. Manager nice, breakfast ok.

needs an overall redecoration. I felt like I was in my granny's house, with the old fashioned furniture, curtains, and carpets.
There was a lot of smaller details that need to be adhered to also, like paint peeling off the wall, stained carpet throughout the building, ripped bedsheet and VERY noisy floorboards.

Over all, check-in was not the friendliest.
Good Points: The Breakfast was lovely, and the landlady is very nice.

I just didn't feel any luxury staying here. Would not recommend.
