My husband and I, together with a friend, spent two nights at Marlagh Lodge in May. Ballymena is the perfect location for touring the Northern coast of Ireland and Marlagh Lodge was a great choice.. Robert and Rachel couldn't have been more welcoming and charming and their beautifully restored home is gorgeous. We both had very spacious rooms with comfy beds and large modern bathrooms. What an experience to stay in a house of this era. Breakfasts were delicious and based on that I would hightly recomend booking dinner there too. Rachel is an accomplished cook - check out her dinner menu on their website - and next time we would very definitely stay in for dinner!
