We had booked three rooms at Fullerton Arms in Ballintoy, however upon arrival they had doublebooked so two of us couldn't stay at the same place as the others, which was disappointing! As it turned out we were the lucky ones as we were sent across the road to this beautiful B&B, that luckily for us had a room for us. It's absolutely amazing! Friendly owners, beautiful and clean room, stunning view, great location, nice and quiet and the breakfast was just great! Overheard some other guests that where staying for their fourth time, that says it all! Will definitely stay here again next time! Just across road down at the harbour is also a filmin location for Game of Thrones, just beautiful! Only thing I can fault is that your phone wont work in Ballintoy, not just at the B&B. But maybe that's not such a bad thing? :-)

My friend and I stayed here for one night while hiking along the coast. Ballintoy is a tiny little town with few options for places to stay, and we were quite happy we ended up in this spot. Rita, the owner, is an incredibly sweet woman, full of energy! She definitely made the place lively, and we really liked her a lot. The room was really big for a B&B, and everything was very clean. We stayed in the twin ensuite (which I believe is actually two queen sized beds). It's a simple room with no frills, but there's a TV and tea and coffee in the room, and that was quite nice. The water is nice and hot (wonderful after hiking all day in the cold), though the water pressure is fairly weak. Because it's a big room, it's a little hard to heat, and we did find the room a bit chilly at night. Other than that, we were very happy staying there. Breakfast in the morning was great, and again -- Rita was the sweetest. If staying in Ballintoy again, we'd be happy to stay here.

We had a very pleasant night at this unique B&B, unique in that you'll be hard pressed to find another former police station, dating from 1731, now transformed to a cosy and comfortable B&B. Of course now nothing reminds you of the premisses' former role, on the contrary, the reception was very friendly and warm. Our host was most helpful and friendly at all occasions. The beds were remarkably good and we also enjoyed the breakfast especially. For us Ballintoy house was an ideal base for our walks to the rope bridge, to Ballintoy harbour with it's delightful little tea-house and the coastal path to the giant's causeway. We'll certainly call again if ever in the neighbourhood.

After phoning Ballintoy House and booking a room for several weeks ahead, I could not believe it when we arrived, the landlady opened the door to us and, after introducing ourselves to her, told us that our room had just been re-let as we had arrived too late (8.30pm). I had already explained when I phoned to make the booking that we were arriving off the late ferry at Larne and would be in the late evening. She assured me that was no problem. I had also offered her a deposit or full payment over the phone which she said would not be necessary. My guess is, that by the blank look on her face when we told her who we were, she had completely forgotten to write down our booking. Mistakes can happen, however we would prefer they didn't, when we'd been travelling for over 28 hours and were expecting a warm reception and a comfortable room for the night! To say she was downright rude - no apology and slamming the door in our faces, after telling us to try the pub down the road would be an understatement. The whole experience put us off Ballintoy for good, so we about turned and headed away from the village. We ended up at a lovely hotel in Coleraine, where the staff and accommodation, as well as the lovely meal, restored our faith in human nature. Can't praise them enough - and we arrived there at 9.30pm! We will certainly not be recommending this establishment to anyone.

Very nice lady (owner?) who made our stay unforgettable. They have 6 cats there, and I am a cat person so I loved it. Spacious and warm room, fantastic breakfast, but most of all - amazing people who run the place.

Stayed here for one night-no problems. Room was ok to good, with toilet, washbasin, shower and small tv. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Owner and family very friendly, Cost £30 inc breakfast which is good value.

Situated on main street in Ballintoy which is half a mile inland from coast between Giants Causeway and Carrick a Rede rope bridge. Ballintoy is pretty quiet, but fine for a short stay.
