“tops of a stunning location”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Great real home made scones, cakes, bread, Yellow Man. After a walk around the Stunning harbour area this is a great spot to have a cake or scone to die for. The staff make you feel if you are at home and offer a great selection of wonderful delights. You could just sit there all day sampling the huge range of cakes.
Try it.

“Delicious cakes,disappointing coffee!”
Reviewed 12 May 2014

Return visit for us to this quaint little cottage located in this picturesque little harbour.
Space is very restricted with tables and chairs very tightly packed. A truly wonderful selection of freshly baked cakes and scones were on offer. The cafe was busy on Sunday and we found there was quite a heavy 'smoky' smell inside. We sampled the caramel squares, sticky jimmies and cherry tart. These were delicious. Unfortunately the capuccinos and latte did not live up to our expectations. They were very disappointing. They do not appear to have a coffee machine yet offer lattes and capuccinos on the menu? Service was good but I agree with another reviewer this cafe could benefit from a freshen up. Worth a visit to sample the delicious home baked cakes and scones, but I would pass on coffees.

“Worth supporting”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

Very small cafe set by tranquil harbour. Excellent for cake, scones etc, food looks fresh and inviting. Very limited cooked menu, but looked good. Well staffed at weekend, but only two people apparent through the week, which could lead to people having to wait some time for service. Result is they could vote with their feet. Worth supporting, but they need to be careful with service. Space is tight.

“Heaven on earth”
Reviewed 30 April 2014

No matter how frantic our work load, we make space for an annual visit - nay - pilgrimage, to this wonderful cafe situated on one of the most beautiful places in the world. Small, unpretentious, with trencher-man size portions of everything. Great pies, sweet and savoury, great buns & cakes, and real traditional Antrim hospitality. Excellent value for money. And a view for the smokers outside that is quite simply heaven on earth. Go there - whatever the weather. and enjoy.
