“Sadly dissapointed!”
Reviewed 12 May 2012

After reading lots of great reviews on this place we were so looking forward to a lovely "luxury, organic bed and breakfast" which we feel really didnt live up to its name.
Whilst Ken and Anna are a friendly, helpful elderly couple and clearly love what they do the bed and breakfast is no longer as it reads on paper. On our arrival here there was washing drying everywhere,we were taken through their own personal sitting room to our bedroom at the back and the heat caught you in the back of the throat so much so that during our entire stay the bedroom window had to be kept open. Our room was comfy and nice sheets on the bed but the bathroom had other peoples toiletries and sponge in it! We were asked if we could have breakfast at 8.30am as the room needed to be cleaned for the next people arriving and considering that we only checked in after 5pm we didnt think this was great service. Breakfast was at a communal table with 4 others and Anna had made lovely bread and fruit but I was dissapointed and had expected more from all the great reviews. We left feeling really dissapointed after spending money that could have been spent somewhere much better.
I am really sorry to write this review as this is Ken and Annas home but I feel dissapointed-sorry!

Returning to Northern Ireland we had to stay with Anna and Ken again. Their friendliness and hospitality is wonderful. The standard of accommodation and breakfast is all we could want and more. The freshly brewed coffee and biscuist straight out of the oven upon arrival sets the standard of service and care that continued throuh the three days of our stay.

If we are lucky enough to return to this area we would stay with them again, like calling in on friends!

Can't say enough about staying at Anna's House. Anna is such a kind, caring person, and the accommodations and breakfast are all top notch. We stayed for several nights while in the Belfast area and found it convenient for seeing everything we wanted to see. Anna even arranged a Black Cab pickup at the doorway so that we had a personalized tour of Belfast without having to drive that day. All priced reasonbably, and a vacation I will never forget.

Room Tip: All are beautiful, quiet and luxuriously appointed.

Everything about this place is fantastic. From the lovely hosts, to the decor, to the amazing lounge, to the fantastic food. I could go on. I have stayed here twice and have found it exceptional both times. I really could not recommend it highly enough!

Stayed here recently for one night. It was fabulous, Anna and Ken are lovely people who were very welcoming, providing fresh coffee and biscuits upon our arrival. The bedrooms were very very comfy with an good size ensuite which had a great shower. The lounge area has beautiful views and is very relaxing. We had a early departure time the next morning and would have been quite happy with cereal and juice for breakfast to avoid inconveniencing our hosts but Anna and Ken insisted on rising early the next morning to prepare a cooked breakfast for us. There was a full menu available and all food was freshly prepared that morning including some scones for our onward journey. We will definitely back.

We stayed with Anna and Ken for two nights and they made us welcome from the start. The room we had was nice and clean and the power shower was great in the morning. The breakfast was hard to fault, the coffee was served in a strange container but was permanetly hot! Anna and Ken are a lovely couple and are most welcoming. They made sure we were up for our early morning flight with toast, coffee, sandwiches and scones for our journey.

Situted up an over grown lane way first impresions was the rather untidy exterior. this B&B is run by a well meaning elderly couple who are surly past their prime. Their small dog has complete run of the house including the kitchen, I would have hygiene concerns with this.
Rooms small but comfy , there eco heating system makes noise well into the night. Breakfast was prepared with the help of an outside lady who seemed rather out of her depth in the kitchen, I would rate it average.
For the price I paid I could have stayed in a 4star hotel, certainly won't be back.
