“A little gem in County Down”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 March 2013

I would highly recommend The Sugarcane. My last visit was on Monday 18th March and I visited with my family. The food was amazing, (as usual), the staff were friendly and attentive, even though it was really busy. They were able to cater for my Mum who has a wheat intolerence, which is great for her. My children loved their 'chip baskets', which is a nice novelty. I have since booked the Sugercane for my 40th birthday, can can't wait :)

“So glad this place opened!”

I love this cafe, it's perfect for meeting friends for a quick cuppa with a giant scone or a sit down lunch. The food always hits the spot, they always have a great specials board; pies/soups/pasta dishes etc along with their main menu of light bites to full breakfasts.
Friendly staff. Clean and modern design which is lovley to see in Comber square as most places cater towards the older generation (nothing wrong with that of course).

“Amazing”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2013

My partner and I visited early on Saturday 16th March, we got a deal they were running on Livingsocial which we puchased hesitantly, debating if it would be worth driving from Belfast for or not. After finally deciding to buy it, it was a decision we did not regret - the food, drink, price, atmosphere - everything was top notch. We will make the trip back from Belfast again, no hesitation at all this time, and i cant wait for go for round two with the cock and bull!

“Lovely Lunch”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 March 2013

We travelled some distance to have lunch at the Sugarcane on a recommendation. we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and very friendly. Great choice of hot and cold meals. Our lunch was excellent. Its a shame it is not local to us because we would use this as our regular eatery. We are looking for an excuse to travel to Comber
