Description: About Gurkha’s"Better to die than be a coward" is the motto of the world-famous Nepalese Gurkha soldiers who are an integral part of the British Army. The potential of these warriors was first realized by the British at the height of their empire-building in the last century. The Victorians identified them as a "martial race", perceiving in them particularly masculine qualities of toughness."If a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or is a Gurkha." -Sir Sam Manekshaw “There is No safer place to be then with Gurkhas” -Prince Harry

When you can locate the tiny entrance in the Main Street you enter a very comfortable scene, spotlessly clean and a very warm welcome. The menu is extensive but simple Indian fare with a great variety of dishes. Very well priced, and the food is of the highest quality, very freshly prepared and served at a nice leisurely pace without rushing you as some Asian restaurants have a habit of doing.
We highly recommend this place as it has a true authentic flare and very tasty food.

I have been to this restaurant 4 times now on a sit in and takeaway.

Every time the food has been cocked to perfection with generous portions.

The atmosphere is tranquil and friendly.

The staff are extremely polite and friendly.

My only regret is I can only award it a 5 it is well worth a 10

I have passed this place hundreds of times but never ventured in until last weekend, I'm so glad I did. The staff are so respectful, friendly, polite & helpful. The food is AMAZING. Well presented, hot, fresh food with very generous portions, too generous I couldn't finish it all. Great variety of drinks and cheap!! I would highly recommend this to everybody.

One of the best restaurants I've ever visited. Friendly, attentive staff and lovely surroundings. The food is without exception excellent, one of the few places I visit where I want to try everything on the menu at some point. Cannot recommend highly enough
