Super little food shop located handily for the seafront, between Fisherrow harbour and Musselburgh's main drag. We opted for wholemeal baguettes filled to order: one tuna, one cheese savoury. Choice of fresh salad as an accompaniment. Also sampled Sandwich Stop's home-made cakes (rocky road was our pleasure), along with crisps and coffee. The perfect ingredients for a picnic, which we enjoyed two minutes away on the promenade, offering fine views of the Forth and Fife. Very friendly service and great value for money. Also on the menu are breakfast rolls, baked potatoes, paninis and soup. Sandwich Stop does kids' lunch boxes, too. It appears to be a new venture and, from our experience, one that certainly deserves to succeed.
