“Great Food & Atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 October 2013

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Woodside Hotel. I ordered the Chicken stuffed with Applewood Cheddar for dinner and the Strawberry and Raspberry Pavlova for dessert. Everything was fabulous.
The dining room was unique, being a restored Cruise Ship dining room, complete with a lovely stained glass ceiling.
The tables were spread out, allowing for a more intimate atmosphere. The service was prompt and very courteous.
Overall a great dining experience.

A little quiet (but it was raining and miserable outside!) but overall good, wholesome food. Dined in a very grand room!

A quiet evening meal - menu had good choice for size of hotel. Loved the sense of nautical history of this hotel - admire the glass 'stained glass' ceiling and panelling!!

A very nice meal with friendly attentive staff.
Be warned - if you ask for chips you get a mountain of them!
