“Delightful, clean and friendly”
Reviewed 28 March 2014 via mobile

Recently stayed at this B&B for 2 nights, the owners were very friendly. The room we had was a large upstairs spacious room, with a lot of added touches, nice home baking and a glass of sherry. We got a lovely well cooked breakfast. Overall the place was very clean and fresh.

Sincere thanks once again for a lovely stay. Spent another couple of days with Julia and Tom, and again loved every minute. The rooms are VERY spacious, and absolutely spotless and although we were only staying a couple of days our bedroom was cleaned every day. The atmosphere is sooooo relaxed. Breakfast is amazing and so much of it. We have stayed with Tom and Julia on a number of occasions and to be honest if there were no vacancies, we would change out holiday dates. We have stayed in accommodation not a stones throw from Beaumont, and a great deal more expensive, but the only one for us is BEAUMONT LODGE with Julia and Tom. See you again soon folks. Thank you. xx

Room Tip: All rooms are fantastic.

This bed & breakfast was a treat for myself, my mum, daughter & niece. My mum & dad had I visited the Beaumont Lodge before and loved it. On arrival we received an extremely friendly welcome by Tom who helped us with our cases to our adjoining room (family room). Both rooms were immaculate with fresh bed linen, large spacious rooms, clean towels etc I'm really impressed, Julia has even baked a lemon loaf and left it for us to enjoy with a complimentary tea or coffee looking out from our window onto the sea. The breakfast certainly didn't disapoint it was fantastic. Safe to say that we will definitely be back and will also be recommending it to friends, family & work colleagues, this place is a MUST when looking for a friendly place to stay in Anstruther.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights. The Guest House is very clean, comfortable and the breakfasts all you could wish for (but not for too long, if you value your waistline). Proprietors are very friendly and helpful. Nice, friendly atmosphere.
All rooms are en suite.
It is about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Anstruther, if that, where there are good pubs and a famous fish and chip restaurant (I'm told, we didn't visit it).
Would be our first choice to stay in the area if, and when, we return.

Room Tip: I think we had the smallest (and cheapest) room, but it was quite adequate. It was on the front of t...

Enjoyed our time at Beaumont Lodge very much! Julia and Tom are great hosts, very nice and helpful. The double rooms were great: large, very warm and clean. We had en-suite bathrooms that were clean and tidy as well. Everything was perfect! The location is great too, very close to the harbour and nice local pubs.
Many thanks!

Just returned from another stay with Tom and Julia, and I am very happy after a great holiday. Julia's housekeeping is as meticulous as ever, and my room was spotlessly clean and tidy every day - until I got back! Breakfast was delicious each day, with plenty of choice - cereals, porridge (pronounced very good by my stepfather), undyed kippers (yummy) and naturally full cooked breakfast and any variation on it. A special treat was fresh locally grown strawberries - and Scottish strawberries are delicious! Tom even looked after the plants that I couldn't resist buying at St Andrews Botanic Garden, delivering them in perfect condition at the end of our stay. Julia also provides a very substantial packed lunch on request, so no danger of starving if you're heading somewhere with no cafe!
