The house is a little quirky having an up stairs and a down stairs. The upstairs bedrooms are bright with views from the velux windows of the sea/harbour. The downstairs bedrooms are a little darker but still good and spacious. The kitchen / diner has plenty of room and the floor is wooden, which is ideal for a seaside holiday home.
The location is great, nice and quite but just a five minute walk into Anstruther where there are many restaurants and chipies. A chinese carryout is located near by and was well used as was the Haven pub which is a five minute walk away and a great location for a meal, overlooking the old cellardyke harbour.
Beyond the harbour is the outdoor centre where the staff are very friendly and the kayaking lessons in the sea are fantastic value for money and a great experience for any holiday.
The roads are a bit narrow, mainly allowing only single traffic but parking was relatively easy.
