Reviewed 12 April 2014

Edna and Graham have created a fabulous place to stay in Crail. They are both lovely and helpful and really knock themselves out to ensure that you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be returning.

The friendliest place that i have stayed. Edna met me as i got out the car and from then on it was friendly professionalism. As we had all the rooms booked, Edna gave me the tour of the rooms, explained a bit of the "history" behind the names of the rooms. Offered me a cup of tea and sandwich while i was waiting for the rest of my family.
As we had a little one with us, Edna was concerned about the stairs and offered to source a stair gate for the top. The little things matter and this was very kind of her.
The rooms were very clean tidy and well laid out.
Graham even let the lil one look after his 'dog' as she was a lil bit bored. This made her smile when she realised that it was a cuddly one. Again the little things make a lot of difference.
The breakfast was brilliant and offered a varied selection of cereals, fruit as well as the more traditional cooked items.
Nothing was too much for Graham and Edna.

Room Tip: There is 1 double, 1 twin and 1 treble room. They are all spacious and the double and treble are ens...

Would recommend the honey pot to everyone. Graham and Edna go out of there way to make you welcome. Nothing was a trouble to them. There filling breakfast sets you up for the day. Very clean comfortable. The only problem we regretted was not booking more nights with them.

Room Tip: The reviews say it all. Book the Honey pot you wont regret it.

We ended our 3 weeks in Scotland in Crail, a quiet, quintessential fishing village, built around the harbor. It seemed serendipitous that as we were concluding our visit, The Honeypot Guest House and Tearoom was also winding down, but nonetheless, Graham & Edna's welcome was genuine and warm. They were attentive, relaxed hosts. Our room was clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. Graham knows the area well and had many recommendations for us, especially concerning quality foods & eateries. We had read many impressive reviews of the Tearoom - their efforts to support local merchants and use quality ingredients and were disappointed that we had not come earlier in the season to enjoy their offerings. You can imagine our surprise - and DELIGHT, when upon returning from a brisk, late October walk down by the harbor, Graham had the teapots whistling and Edna greeted us with a freshly baked basket of her famous scones! Delicious!
We unequivocally recommend the Honeypot Guest House & Tearoom!

My fiancé and I stayed at the Honeypot last night for one evening. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel more than welcome. Edna showed us to our room and helped us find out about bus times into St. Andrews. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was very modern with luxurious Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries. At breakfast, we were asked what we would like and the food was well cooked from local ingredients. We chatted to Graham and Edna as if we'd known them for a long time whilst being given a plentiful supply of tea and toast.

Graham had given us recommendations earlier in the week for dinner. We chose the Adamson in St. Andrews which was amazing. Beautiful food with fantastic service. We would certainly recommend it.

All in all a lovely wee night away in a picturesque part of Scotland. You will not be disappointed if you choose the Honeypot!

Although our stay at the Honeypot with Edna and Graham was short (only two nights), we were lucky enough to experience the full force of their hospitality and generosity. Graham was masterful in tracking down valuables that we lost en route to Crail and Edna's culinary talents were memorable. The Honeypot was peaceful, beautifully situated, comfortable and welcoming. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, E and G for everything!

The owners of the Honeypot are extremely friendly and welcoming - and very obliging. The B&B is situated bang in the centre of town and handily right next to the pub!
The rooms are avove the tearoom and are freshly decorated with plenty of room - very comfortable.
The breakfast was of a very high quality.
I would highly recommend a visit.
