Lovely place to stay, everything thought of by the owners. Will definately return and recommend to friends and family. The garden is perfect for our dogs, views great. Very peacefull location but near enough to venture out (by car) to Anstruther town and St Andrews.

“Peaceful and Secluded”
Reviewed 18 August 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Very high quality cottage in a lovely remote location with views across fields in all directions. Deceptively spacious, light and airy. We loved the hot tub. Our first visit to Fife, an undiscovered gem. Beautiful coast paths to pretty fishing villages, accessible from the cottage. We hope to return very soon.

“Bliss!!”
Reviewed 22 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We loved this cottage, everything was provided for a relaxing break. Clean and well laid out with lovely views, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. The hot tub was fantastic to ease aching muscles after a day of walking! If you're looking to literally 'get away from it all' but still be in easy driving distance of towns and cities, I can definitely recommend Railway Crossing Cottage.

This lovely cottage is located pretty much right in between Anstruther and Crail. Also very handy to get to St. Andrews as well- about 20 mins drive. It sits about 500m off the main coastal road. The cottage is lovely and very well appointed- everything you need is provided. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub and spent a few happy hours under the stars. Having seen the hotels and B&Bs in the vicinity, we are delighted with out decision to stay here. Definitely recommended.

Lovely cottage, spotlessly clean, everything so fresh. Lots of extras..with welcome fire ready to light. Spacious yet cosy.
Brilliant location so close to Crail and Anstruther yet seems in the middle of nowhere!
