Four of us popped in for lunch yesterday. Warm welcome from staff and owner Thierry. Although they have only been open as Café Montmarte for a few weeks it felt as if they had been there for ages.
All four of us chose the soup/sandwich lunch combo.

The soup was fantastic - creamed carrot and parsnip. We all raved about is and can't wait to try some of Anne's other creations. We all chose different sandwiches and these were all lovely. Lots of filling, beautifully seasoned very tasty.

Coffees were lovely, the sweet selection looked lovely but unfortunately we had no room for dessert.

We look forward to returning soon.

Walked in on a Saturday at 4:30. Probably the worst time of the day to walk in, let alone to ask for a lunch menu! Thierry and Anne were more than accommodating. Made us feel we was far away from Cupar for an hour or so. A breath of fresh air.. thank you!

Every year we end up in Cupar for Hogg's sale and part of our ritual is soup and sandwich at this excellent spot. Good value with excellent coffee and friendly service. And take away a couple of scones for later!

Coffee was average. Outdoor seating in a very pleasant pend full of hanging baskets. Delightful on a pleasant summer's day

Nice fresh food but service let's this place down. Great site and courtyard tables great in this weather, just need to remember that the the service is as important as the food!
