Owner description: Cairnie Fruit Farm is a long established family run business in Cupar, Fife and is a popular local landmark. The Farm Shop showcases a spectacular display of ready-picked fruit the farm produces, delicious take-away home-baking (made and served daily in the tearoom). The Funyard has many fun outdoor playpark attractions including go-carts and zip wire. The Mega Maze offers hours of fun as does the Pick Your Own fruit.

Set in lovely rolling countryside near Cupar, Cairnie Fruit Farm is a joy for all the family. Great energetic activities for the children, climbing hay bales, trampolines, aerial slide, diggers in the sand pit, go-karts plus butterfly maze.

Children will also enjoy helping you to pick-your-own from a great selection of berries. There's a great selection of home made food in the café and an outdoor bar-b-que (last weekend anyway) featuring prime local produce. Smashing day out.

Spent a few hours here everybody in our party( 5 Adults 4 under 6`s) had a good time. We should have gone to pick the strawberrys in the morning as by the afternoon the best of the fruit was gone. Having said that what we did pick was good a lot better than you can get in the shops. Only bad point my son in law had to wait over 20 minutes to buy a burger the employee who was cooking them and serving seemed to have one speed SLOW and an attitude to match.
That said we will be back next year perhaps a few times

Maze was fine but not stunning, but lot's of other things for children to do (and use up their energy) - buggy rides, go-karts, slides, swings, jumping pillow, etc. Good shop with lots of fresh fruit and some very tasty looking jam - looking forward to trying the tayberry especially.

The only reason they get a average is because of the facility.

Though the tea room was packed I had to queue for 30 minutes to get a gluten free sandwich and a quiche. It was another 20 minutes before they arrived at the table. Just sitting watching the process of how they worked was very telling. Staff were all over the place and clearly no one taking on a leadership role. Quite frustrating.

Quiche was ok but the gluten free cheese and salad sandwich lacked any salad and was just just two slices of pre sliced cheddar.......sandwich was £5.50!

I think there is a bit of complacency here as it is so busy. My hint would be to anyone else visiting it to go to the outdoor space and take a picnic with you.

We absolutely loved this place and spent all day there. The food was amazing (lunchtime food and cakes)- we can't rate it highly enough. The prices were reasonable in my opinion. My elder Son went on everything at least once and I have to say that the children were SO polite and took turns / shared really well. My hubby and I went on the go-carts, Ariel slide and trampolines which we enjoyed (!!). We did the trail around the maize maze which the children enjoyed and took a good hour to complete, looking for animal stamps to complete our trail card. Once we had finished on the play equipment we went to pick some raspberries and strawberries which were again reasonably priced. No complaints from us!! The location was perfect, really relaxing and it felt spacious even though it was packed out by midday. It's free for OAPs which is handy for taking the grandchildren out for the day. We also saw some parents sitting outside the cafe having paid for their kids to go in the fun park. I thought this was a good way to save the pennies for those with older children as its open plan so parents could still see their children playing without paying £5.50 to do so!! Overall a brilliant day out with the family.
