We went to kingarrock golf course on a works outing we wanted something a little different and we got it the whole experience. The day started with a brief history off hickory golf and about how the course came about. We then went inside for a nice shot of malt whisky got our balls and tees and we were about ready. We then went outside and picked our clubs there was plenty to choose from. It was now time to tee off you just have to take a step back and look at the scenery its outstanding the course is nice and flat so is easy to walk around and the bag and clubs are light so no heavy lifting. After your round another little talk about the course over shortbread and ginger beer perfect day out and at 25 pound money well spent

David made the entire experience worthwhile. I hope he reads this. He has such a passion and knowledge of the property, it's a shame to miss this. If you're going to Scotland to play golf he (and we) recommend doing this at the very beginning of the trip, as playing golf at Kingarrock sharpens your traditional golf came because the old-fashioned clubs and grounds sharpen your skills immensely. (We didn't know this, unfortunately and it was the 3rd and last time we played golf on the trip.)

If you don't know the history of the course, I urge you to read everything you can on the website because it made our experience that much more fun. A huge thank you to David and anyone that maintains the feel of golf in 1900, just as the brothers wanted! (I dressed up like a girl in the '20s and it was such a fun thing to dress up to go play!) Also - the views were incredible! We were playing next to cows grazing and sheep! Stunning.

Brilliant! Fun, educational, one of the highlights of our trip! A step back in time, and, from the traditional starting 'dram' to the ginger beer afterwards, we had a ball!
