“Fabulous in Falkland!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2012 for a stay in November 2012

We stayed here for two nights as we were attending a function nearby on the Saturday night and fancied a weekend away to relax and get away from the usual busyness of life. What a find Courtside is! An old building with a contemporary interior most attractively done up and it has everything we needed and then some. Peace and quiet, a good firm mattress, central heating and a peat stove for cosiness, a wooden chest of games we had no time to play and a wide selection of herbs and spices should we have had the inclination to cook something interesting (and some cook books too). We paid extra for the provision of breakfast items which were very generous.
Stewart and Lindsey's welcome and helpfulness added to the warmth of Courtside's welcome! We are already thinking of an excuse to return.

“Peaceful, well presented home from home”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 September 2012 for a stay in September 2012

Beautifully presented cottage with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. We could not fault this property and are in the process of booking another (longer) stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and was well supplied with cleaning products, utensils and even foodstuffs. The beds were very comfy and the peaceful location meant we slept very well. Falkland is a beautiful village, convenient for walking and cycling and only a short drive from St Andrews with it's fab beach. The location was perfect for my family break, my 2 year old loved it.

“Excellent accommodation with helpful but unobtrusive hosts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2012 for a stay in July 2012

Excellent accommodation. Very useful to have two bathrooms. Lovely patio garden with superb views. South facing with lots of sun. Nestled in the middle of an interesting historical village. Plenty of things to do within a short distance of the cottage. Well equipped for self catering, but a variety of places to eat locally. The owners lived along side the cottage and were very helpful, supplying us with beach towels and a rug. The accommodation was very clean. We were visiting family who lived a short distance from Falkland, we will hopefully be visiting again soon.

“Excellent accommodation and location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

We stayed for 5 nights whilst attending a wedding in Fife. The cottage is a great location walking distance to all Falklands amenities. The cottage itself has everything you need as a home away from home, condiments etc are all supplied and the owners even very kindly got some milk and eggs in ready for our arrival. We stayed with a 6 month old baby there was everything we needed travel cot, high chair, baby bath and a baby gate was available had we needed it. The owners live next door and were very helpful but did not intrude at all. This cottage is perfect for all age groups and abilities being fully accessible. There is a beautiful garden area and off street parking. Would recommend Courtside Cottage to anyone looking for self catering accommodation in the Falkland area.

“Best we had been to.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 June 2012 for a stay in June 2012

An excellent cottage fitted out to a high standard catering for able bodied and the disabled. Fully equipt with every appliance needed. Falkland is a lovely place and handy for Edinburgh, Dundee and coastal towns. The owners could not have been any more helpful and offer a first class service.

“Great holiday cottage in the picturesque village of Falkland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 May 2012 for a stay in May 2012

We escaped from the city for a long weekend with family and loved this cottage!

Just a stones throw from the village square and the gates of the Falkland Estate, the location is perfect for a short break or longer stay in Fife.

Newly renovated, filled with light and very comfortable, the cottage has everything you need including its own sun-trap garden - a must as we had great weather in May.

Hope to return for an autumn/ winter break later in the year with friends when we might try out the peat burning stove.

“Clean & Comfy home from home.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 May 2012 for a stay in May 2012

A clean and well appointed cottage with excellent facilities including a south facing garden/patio. Stewart & Lindsay are very friendly and efficient making it a lovely cottage to enjoy staying at.

The setting of Falkland village, with all it's character, makes for an excellent holiday or short stay.
