Julie, the hostess, went out of her way to make us welcome. Offered fresh milk for tea making. Provides home made shortbread in the bedroom and home made jams and marmalade on the breakfast table. Our bedroom was ensuite - not all are? It was good for a night but just a bit tight on space for our three nights - we found it better to unpack what we needed and leave the case in the car. The double bed was a standard size. The ensuite was ample in size though the shower lacked an ideal water pressure. Lovely towels and bedlinen. All was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good - though for us an option of some prepared fresh fruit would have been welcome.

Large Victorian former manse with bubbly friendly proprietress in quiet but central location. The house and room were immaculate and the bed very comfortable. Wide choice of fare in the excellent breakfast, and unlike many B&Bs there's a comfortable resident's lounge to relax in. Parking is a bit restricted but that's the only minus point. Home made shortbread on hospitality tray in the bedroom was delicious! The sea front is only 5-10 minutes stroll away.

If you like a pint in the evening, forget Leven pubs - take the 95 bus to Lower Largo where the Railway Inn and Crusoe hotel will satisfy your needs. The stop is 2 minutes walk from Dunclutha.

Had a great stay at Dunclutha. Julie and Richard made us very welcome. Lovely rooms and really comfy bed. Breakfast was really fine. Down in area at least once every two months and usually use another hotel but it was full, well it can be empty the next time as from now on will be staying in Dunclutha. Would recommend it to everyone that needs a place to stay in Leven.

what a great place to stay. room was a family with a double and 2 single beds and all very comfortable ensuring we slept well, plenty of space good shower and toiletries. The hospitallity tray was brilliant, really loved the home made shortbread, plenty of choice and a nice touch was the bottled water.
Really spoilled for choice at breakfast and what a platefull , there were 8 of us and I don't think anyone cleared their plate.
Last but not least Richard & Julie were the perfect hosts nothing was a bother for them from making sure you had everything you needed to advice and imformation on where to go. Well done and hope to see you soon Allan Falkirk

We have just had our second stay at Dunclutha and we must thank Julie and Richard for making us feel so welcome, again. We had been out for the day and the weather was Baltic, got wet and cold, so it was a delight to use their newly installed Hot Tub, the only problem being, once you get into it, you don`t want to get back out. Using it is a must if staying with them, so don`t forget to pack your swimwear. Once again a big thank you for your kind hospitality and look forward to our next visit to Leven, should be a bit warmer but will still use the Hot Tub.

We always look forward to our trips to Scotland for the Golf or Rugby, and this year was no dissapointment.
We have stayed at the Dunclutha many times, and it never lets us down. The new owners, Julie and Richard made us most welcome, a loverly couple, who make time to look after their guests, a friendly atmosphere, and great banter made our stay better than before.
Breakfast was first class, as was the comfort of the rooms, Im now looking forward to summer and a long weekend break in Leven at the Dunclutha.

Thank you so much for your glowing review, means a lot to us as we're still learning the ropes and tells us we're heading in the right direction, all comments are taken on board and we try to make everyone's stay a good one. Roll on the summer season and more rugby too.

Thanks again

Thanks Julie for welcoming us for our last minute break!
Our room was huge but so cosy and clean. Wifi and Freeview available.
Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice available.
Fresh milk for our room, homemade shortbread and homemade jams for breakfast add that personal touch.
Excellent base for exploring Fife on a beautiful sunny Saturday.
We wish you the very best for the 2013 season!
