At the northern end of the Forth Railway Bridge is the world’s smallest light tower and was built by Robert Stevenson in 1817. It is situated along the town pier in North Queensferry with commanding views of the Firth of Forth and the Forth Railway Bridge. The light tower has recently been restored and it is possible to walk up to the top where the mechanisms and lamp can be seen. It is worth a visit when in the North Queensferry area.
