“the best walk over a bridge!”
Reviewed 11 March 2014

We cross the bridge nearly every day by car,but if one wants a walk experience I would suggest parking your car at South Queensferry then walk over to the North side and then back.
Tip take a wind proof jacket and the best is to do the walk in the sunshine and you get very good views of the second road bridge taking shape!

“Amazing sight....”
Reviewed 24 February 2014

Even someone with a mild interest in trains and history should visit the Forth Bridge. Take the train from Waverley to North Queensferry (£5.50 return) for a 20 minute journey to this engineering masterpiece. Incredible views of the bridge from the waters edge down the hill from the station and also of the road bridge to the right.
North Queensferry is a pretty village with places for a bite to eat or a drink while waiting for the return train to Edinburgh.
Well worth visiting...

“Hope will be famous forever.”

Not just a bridge.
Was watching with the sun rising in the background, what a wonderful view!

Lucky those commuters sitting on the train early in the morning.
