“With the rail”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

Make sure you take the train to Edinburgh, it's the only way to cross the Forth bridge. Parking (with fee) next to rail station next to North Queensferry. Your hotel will explain you how to get there. Beautiful architectural piece. A cheaper way to get to Edinburgh from North Queensferry is with the bus, parking is free of charge and you'll have a good view of the Forth Bridge as the bus drives you over the other bridge.

“Jaw-dropping view ..and it’s over 8.000 feet long in total!”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

Refurbished over the last years now looks just fabulous. Never have had a chance to stop, this time found a parking bay, walked up and looked in admiration.
Coming from the north take B800, turn left and again first left on another roundabout then if you are lucky there is a dedicated parking, if all taken go past and there are some parking places further on.

Apparently the bridge will not require any major painting for another twenty years. I am so glad I stopped for it’s not the same as catching a glimpse of it while driving. To fully appreciate the landmark you just need to stop for a moment.

“Nice bridge”

A lovely bridge with great scenery. Would eecommend to walk it as the traffic can get very busy. Also they have taken away the 50p charge.

“Grand Structure”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

We stopped on the way to Edinburgh at the visitors centre to view the structure that has been and still is used daily by trains. There is a good view of the bridge from the viewing area as to get close to it you would never get it all in to the photo. There are free toilets available there.

“Impressive”

Impressive bridge to see by night. Our friends got married with the bridge in the background, beautiful pictures. Queens ferry itself is very quaint.
