Very pleasant walk, mainly through Forestry Commission forest on to Seashore which is a good site for lunch if you have taken it with you. Interesting cave with some markings.

Expected to find pirates remnants in the caves, alas none to be found in these vast caves. If parking a car at the car-park off the main road take the path to the right as it is less strenuous, we met an old couple struggling over the top of the hill, when they could more easily walk around it.

This was our first walk we did on the Sunday our first full day on Arran, it has to be said I am not much of a walker unless on flat ground but I managed this walk well. We took the route to the right if the car park thinking since it was raining we could head to see caves and come back same route. However when we arrived at the walk down to caves with all the heavy rain the decision was made by the more experienced walkers that it was going to be too slippy to head down on to beach. But you get amazing views out to sea, which would have been even better had it been a dry and clear day. I would still recommend this walk to all walkers no matter how far you get, as it is just a lovely walk through the edge of the forest and then up to the open for the sea views. Great for dogs with all the smells.

The caves are great and the walk from the car park off the main road is lovely. Forrest, cliff and beach all rolled into a fab little walk.

Peaceful and quiet with a fabulous view and a not too difficult walk. Easy to access either by foot or car.
