As with other reviews, the fish for our order was cooked to order but the chips clearly weren't. The fish was nicely cooked and the batter crisp and tasty. The chips were a soggy mess and sat heavily afterwards. Not a particularly pleasant feeling.

They have got much of the operation right, but the chips are kind of important in a chippie, aren't they?

Had fish n chips, scotch pie n chips. Had to wait as everything is cooked fresh - don't think chips were. The fish was lovely. Batter was light and crispy and the fish moist. The scotch pie was greasy and the chips were a bit on the small size. Tasted like reheats and had loads of crispy bits. Was glad we got in before the crowd from the ferry

Food was freshly cooked and the staff were nice and helpful. Great value for money. Battered mars bars were fantastic! I will certainly be returning for another meal when i next visit the beautiful island.

Fine fish and chips freshly cooked. Good piece of lightly battered fish and sufficient chips. What's not to like?

We always go over to Arran in the summer for day trip. We always get last boat back and buy fish &chips and wait for the ferry to come in. The fish was lovely, with really good batter and great chips as well.
The service was impressive - efficient and friendly. Hope they keep it up and stay.
