“Amazing little cottage”

Just back from spending a week in this lovely little cottage. If you want a self catering cottage with everything you possibly need then look no further than Thorncliffe. From things like teabags in the cupboard, hot water bottles, dvds, it has everything! Met by Colin who was very helpful indeed going over where everything was in the cottage and then we were left just to undwind and enjoy! The place is immaculate and the views from livingroom window are stunning. Had the most amazing time in Arran and would not hesitate to book this cottage again. We have some fantastic memories of the island from our week away and having a good base camp to unwind at the end of a days exploring makes it even more special. Amazing. Thanks again

“Perfect Home from Home”

The cottage was spotlessly clean, had everything you could wish for in a holiday rental & had amazing sea & mountain views. As a foot passenger on the ferry, the location of the cottage was ideal too. Only a 5min walk from the harbour & you pass a large co-op on the way to pick up messages! So many lovely walks from the doorstep & also very handy for the bus service if you want to get round the island that way. I would definitely recommend.

“Perfect”

A perfect holiday in a perfect location. We had a hugely enjoyable week on Arran with the bonus of a warm friendly welcome everywhere. The bungalow was well equipped, immaculately maintained, comfortable and peaceful while being conveniently located for the car ferry, shops and restaurants. The views from the front were stunning (pictured). We particularly enjoyed dining at a folk music evening at the Fiddlers' Bar nearby. A very short drive away, Lamlash (pictured) offered further excellent opportunities to eat out, and of course the unmissable short ferry ride to Holy Isle. Only sorry we missed the opportunity to thank Fiona in person at the end of our stay.

Comfortable and very well situated base for a holiday on Arran. Easy access on foot from pier and short walk to golf course, beach and the shops. Hill location gives good view of Brodick bay and Goatfell.

Recently stayed at this wonderful little cottage. Located close to the ferry terminal at Brodick and local amenities. Stunning sea views and views across to goatfell.
Well equipped with everything you need for your stay. If you're looking for a relaxing break I'd highly recommend staying at Thorncliffe cottage.
Loved it so much I'm already planning my next visit.
