Myself and my family are regular visitors to the island of Arran and the Auchrannie Country House and Spa resort. The Spa is particularly good for families. Very comfortable, well equipped rooms. Both hotels are in lovely surroundings and the location is great for getting around the island. The Spa has a terrific pool and a good sized baby pool as well as the sauna and steam room which is great if you get the chance for some me time. There is so much to do for families and if you like some excitement, Arran adventure is based within the grounds of the hotel and offers so many brilliant activities. Gorge walking is a must!
My husband and I had two days at the Spa resort. We had a great informal meal in the Cruize restaurant on the friday night and a spectacular meal at the Eighteen69 restaurant in the country house on the Sat night. The staff were lovely, extremely attentive and the food was the best meal we have had in a long time. We would highly recommend both hotels to families and couples alike. You won't be disappointed.

stayed for three wet and windy nights in november, but hay-ho that's Scotland! Booked the auchrannie because you have plenty to do indoors inspite of the weather. Made good use of the pool, steam room and sauna, and both my husband and i had a treatment at the spa. Stayed in the house hotel and ate at cruize restaurant, as it had better options for vegetarians. Food was fantastic, service excellent and atmosphere relaxed. Bar prices were slightly cheaper than i thought they would be!! Arran is a beautiful island, albeit better with some sunshine, and the auchrannie is a great hotel to base yourself, regardless.

Auchrannie in particular is a great place to go for that special break away, and Arran fits the bill in the same way. We made use of all the facilities and it was all good. I didn't realise Arran was as big so unless you intend to spend all your time in the resort or in Brodick then u will definately need a car to get around the island. We ate in eighteen69 fine dining restaurant and in Cruze brassiere, both served good food and staff were excellent. Breakfasts were served in the Cruze brassiere and were of a good standard

High hopes for our visit to Arran and the Auchrannie spa resort as the reviews were very positive and we were not dispappointed. The setting is beautiful and the hotel is just perfect for families with children young and old in our opinion. Everywhere from the rooms to the public areas was clean, fresh and modern. All of the staff we met couldn't do enough for you. Pool facilities were great. Cruize was the only place we ate as Brambles was not open for the length of our 3 night stay (which was a wee bit disappointing), however Cruize really was perfect for us. Relaxed and informal dining wwith soft play and 'gaming' to keep the kids amused once they had eaten. Food in Cruize wasn't the best I've ever had but perfectly nice.
Our only small gripe was that the leisure facilites (pool and gym) didn't open till 9am! This is really quite late when you have young children and it would have been great to have a dip or even a quick workout before breakfast!
All in all a fanatstic hotel and we can't wait to go back.

My wife and I travelled to Arran for the first time and will definitely return. The Auchrannie was the perfect choice of residence as it caters for everyone and a prime location.
The weather was rather wet but returning to the pool & steam room was bliss.
My wife took advantage of the Spa facilities, chilling out as never before.
The two restaurants in the older hotel were excellent and have varied menus.
