“Lovely Cottage”
Reviewed 19 February 2017 for a stay in January 2017

Very cosy comfortable cottage. Margaret & Iain make you feel very welcome.
The wecome basket was a lovely added extra. Just a short walk to the beach so I could exercise my dog.
Lots of nice places to eat & the Co-op sold everything we needed.

“Fantastic Apartment”
Reviewed 15 August 2016 for a stay in June 2016

My wife and I stayed for a week in June and were very impressed. From the contact we had with Margaret prior to visiting, to the lovely greeting we had from lain on arrival, everything was excellent. What a lovely place Arran is - it was my first visit and my wife's first visit since she was a child and we both loved it. The apartment is in a great location, only a 5 minute walk into Lamlash and the views over the bay and to the Holy Isle are nothing short of stunning. The facilities in the apartment are excellent, the welcome hamper is such a nice touch and we even got the weather to enjoy the sun loungers which are also provided - Margaret and Iain have thought of pretty much everything!! Such a nice place to spend a week. Look out for the red squirrels, we were lucky enough to see them a couple of times. We had a great week and will look forward to returning sometime in the future. Would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone.

“lovely and relaxing”

we honeymooned here in early April and had a marvellous time. Iain was a perfect host and we thoroughly enjoyed our wee dram one afternoon.

The lodge is lovely and cosy, the welcome bubbly and strawberries was a lovely touch and we immediately felt at home. It was my first visit to the island and my wife's first since she was a small child. We can honestly say that we will be back before long. It is a really nice spot and thoroughly recommended.

“A superbly relaxing place to stay.”
Reviewed 17 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Very comfortable. Fantastic welcome hamper of local produce. Extremely clean, very well equipped. Also, most important to us, very warm and cosy. Marvellous views of Lamlash Bay, which ŵe didn't expect and a very short walk to the beach. Lovely outdoor area just to sit and relax and enjoy the views and scenery, and also kept our dog secure. So peaceful and quiet. Margaret and Iain have been so friendly and helpful, but not intrusive in any way. We can't praise this accommodation enough and would recommend it to anyone. Couldn't find fault with anything.

“A great little piece of heaven”

My husband and I are just back after a long weekend, we wished it could have been longer. The lodge itself was beautiful, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The owners little touches were very much appreciated. They were so friendly and welcomed our dog too. The views were just lovely like a little piece of heaven, would most definately recommend. We will be back.
