Walking this county park before our visit to Rosslyn Chapel was one of the highlights of our trip. It is a lovely walk to see the Gunpowder Mill.

Arrived at the chapel and then choose to walk the country park. Great place to walk through the woods and glen. Take sandwiches and coffee and enjoy the sights and and smells of the woods.

We parked here and had a walk round the park, then we started looking to see how we could walk from the park to Rosslyn Chapel, we did make it but its a very steep narrow mucky path with over 100 steps up towards the old cemetery & chapel, we did make it to Rosslyn Chapel from the park.

Nature abounds - easy to see why so many poets and artists were drawn to this flurishing environment - and a small river runs through it!
